Hi community,
A while ago I made a game called
Cubic Roll, my first experiment with an "infinite runner" type of games. In this game I wanted to come up with a fresh and new kind of gameplay, at least the one that I myself didn't encounter before.
The gameplay is simple: you control a cube, which is rolling along the track (also made of cubes). Your aim is to make sure the cube doesn't fall from the track for as long as you can. The cube also heats up when it rolls, so special "cooler" spheres, which can be found on the track, must be collected in order to decrease overheat. By surviving longer and longer, you win medals, and your progress is recorded.
Controls: left/right cursor keys.
Check this out and let me know what you think about the game. Posting your records is welcome
Also would like to hear from you if this gameplay is really that fresh and new as I think, or there are a lot of similar games that I simply missed.
