A golf game that is also a murder mystery. You need to play good enough to remain on the tour while solving the murder of your mentor. Think Shenmue meets Tiger Woods. There needs to be golf cart speed chases and wacking people over the head with a 9 iron.
Do it but try to add lights switching on and off at each holes with someone new dying each time Tongue

I think I would do Xion's idea as one of those sierra type half-text half graphical adventures. When you were playing King's Quest or Police Quest, even in the best case scenario you only barely had control of your character.

sorry for bringing up an old subject in this thread but i couldn't resist...
(On breaking the fourth wall)any one ever play comix zone?  Awesome game , Ive never seen a game done like it before.  You were a character in the comic and you would jump from action box to action box with word bubbles popping up out of the characters.  A hand would come in and draw enemies.  Heres a video.
