Wham has been updated again. The shopkeeper's positioning should be a little more consistant, a few jumps are easier to make, and there's now a hint for anyone confused about the very first puzzle of the game. Anyone who's already beaten Wham probably doesn't need to see it again. There's only a few tweaks.

Here's a set of five levels. They're quite easy
I think that you severely underestimate the difficulty of these levels. They are fun but at times seem unfair, and I couldn't beat the fourth one because I couldn't figure out what to do. There are times when you have to chose between right and left (like in the pyramid shaped level) and if you choose wrong you have no chance of winning which seems unfair. They have interesting designs though, and I enjoyed them, so don't get discouraged.

As the overall content of the whole five maps combined is less than many other single maps I didn't worry about fairness since there's hardly anything to it. I might've been aiming for atmosphere (cut a hole in centre of some paper, place it over your screen, and pretend the second map is a dark level)
Fourth map is supposed to be the hard bit, and even then it's just roping.

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3onggtzgnyqMade a short little atmospheric piece. You're traveling in a helicopter, but you find it to be infested with spiders! you throw your climbing gloves and spring out the door before jumping yourself. the spiders all follow. You head to the nearby tower to look for a way back up

I just completed a new metroidvania! The castle!Pretty short, but I like the aesthetic. Got a little bit of story, a vague kind of enemy that has to be fought 3 times(!) and a couple interesting puzzles. Enjoy!

So in my game, I found out that I can slide across a sorta of "bridge" of ladder tops, and I assume it's like that its present everyone else's game too... so I made an automatic level playing around with it. It should work. Um, I think. I call it the Ancient Coaster.

Look! it's another metroidvania! The mountain! You've spent a year basking in your ridiculous wealth atop a mountain. but now, you must begin your journey back. There are many obstacles in your way, and you will have to surmount them through exploration. One of my better level sets, although the final areas are a little iffy.

Haha, I made my own running level, too. I made it before the Automatic level from earlier... In fact, I found out about the ladder slide while making this level.
I don't want to bother uploading the file, so here's the raw level data.
Word of advice, you should start running as soon as the level starts. Really.

I wanted to see if it was possible to make a story level, rather than an action/puzzle level. I think I sort of succeeded! plane.zipIt'd be neat if someone shoehorned the story parts onto some actual gameplay. Note: you can't enter the Changing Room before playing, because of a bug or a collision difference or something. Hey Derek, it'd be nice if we could put commas and exclamation points onto message signs. A lot of the dialog sounds weird because I couldn't.

I just found this game. Liking it a lot. Here's a level I put together. It's mainly a puzzle, but has some other stuff too. http://rpba.homestead.com/files/tricky_cave.lvlIf you find any way to skip any parts, please tell me! And if you get stuck I'll give a hint.

@PureQuestion: Hey, I played some of your levels and none of them have "next level" guidelines set. You can't much play a map pack easily if it doesn't play in order. It's extremely annoying to have to set your 3-4 map packs in this thread to play in the correct order. I can fix them all up and post a mediafire link to them for the masses that play, so don't worry about that.
At any rate, New here. I might release a level or two since they aren't too hard to make, but until then I registered for the above.

You don't need "next level" if the doors are labeled. which they are. have you actually tried them?

Kyzak, you're probably playing the levels on Spelunky v0.99.5. PureQuestion's levels require v0.99.8 to run.
