hey all! i make pixel art for games that i like, among other things. sometimes i make it and i think it looks nearly perfect for what i'm trying to do. other times i'm not feeling it. the worst is when i'm not feeling it and i'm not even quite sure why!

for example: i got this dude from a project i'm working on and off on, but he's not -quite- there right now.

can't -quite- put my finger on what's up. i know the flames and shadows aren't quite there yet. something about the legs bugs me too. also basically everything. maybe if i sleep on it a few hundred times i'll be able to figure it out, but right now it's the visual art equivalent of the "tip of my tongue" vibe. anyway. YEAH. i've got some other stuff i'll definitely post here soon too.

Boots are too cubical, could do a lot better with some anti-aliasing as this seems more like a vector piece instead of a sprite
