Right now it's at 20 (including stickies). It feels a bit short to me right now - any objections to bumping it up to maybe 30?

Okay, it's at 30 now. Seems better, especially for the DevLogs and such.

Shoot, I'm sorry - I meant topics per page. Should the posts per page be increased, too?

I'd say yes, I wouldn't mind if it was doubled.

And personally I would love to load even more posts per page (sometimes all of the topic), but that's only good if it's optional and not default.

a more human-computable # would be nice - multiple of 10 (so like, 20 I guess.)

uhhh it's easier to navigate a topic when you can sort of have an easier idea of guessing how many posts you're going ahead...eaiser to compute multiples of 20 than 15

Dude, we're programmers and geeks here. There should be like 13.672 posts per page. If you can't navigate that, you don't belong!

Don't wanna make a new topic for this:

I think a linked post should be highlighted somehow. As is there's no way of telling which of the bottom few posts on a page is linked if several fit on screen.

What's a "linked post"?

I think he means if someone links to a post and you click that link, but the post that was linked is one of the last posts on the page, so it isn't aligned with the top of the screen and therefore you can't tell offhand which of the posts was the one that was linked to.

It doesn't seem like there's an existing SMF mod that does this. But you can get the number of the post via the URL, though, and just check which of the posts matches that manually, if you find yourself in this situation.

Yeah but you can't expect everyone to do that when you link them something. It's kind of a hassle having to append which of the posts you mean to make sure people see what you want them to.
