Runner, but in probable future maybe metroidvania.
iOS, Android, PC.

Gameplay:



It will be runner with guns and enemies. Player tap on one of three parts of screen forcing Dave to jump on another floor. For shots and switch weapons using the lower part of phone screen.

Also, Dave have health and lives, death is permanent, but player remain all coins and weapons. So after death he can buy new weapons, make upgrades and increase number of bullets of any weapon.
And try to go further.

В последнее время я перестал использовать дизеринг, так что на картинках выше его нет. Я стараюсь использовать чистый цвет, с дизерингом же картинка часто начинает "дребезжать" и кроме того, при увеличении дизеринг сразу в глаза бросается, нарушая целостность пятен. Хотя все от скиллов художника конечно зависит =)  (Переводить на инглиш времени нет).

I agree with this, but we (me and programmer) do not have much time for the development as we would like. Making of runner is much more simple task, so we decided to begin with it.
After that we will begin to develop metroidvania, I hope. =)

Starting work on new map setting:



I'm not sure now what exactly it will be, maybe sewer or some factory or underground laboratory. May be a hybrid of all of this.

hi everybody, i am the programmer of this game.

Let me introduce the story plot:

In many of old games, when a character dies, he fall down, through tiles and floor. In other games there is abysses, which you can fall, but nobody knows, do they have bottoms... What, if they do? What, if anything, that fall down to suspense in every game, go to one place - some "underworld"? Underworld that consists of fallen pieces of old games, and died characters inhabit it.
This game is exactly about that underworld. About the character, who falled down, but did not accepted gameover, and want to return back to his gameworld.

yo if you want a fix/cleanup, then i offer my nintendo treehouse method version that completely demolishes it, inspired by many a 90s game ad:

What if bottomless pits actually went somewhere?

Everyone has that one game they can't beat. You're gonna give up eventually. But  in the space between Game Over and New Game there exists a limbo where dead characters wait for their players to come back and take another crack at it. Most have been waiting for a long, long time.

This is a story about a guy who refused to accept Game Over. This is a story about a guy who didn't like to wait.

Break the rules; Dave's coming back.

For serious.

I'm working on two games currently - "Serious Dave" and "Betelgeuse", small game and big game.
