Requirements pretty much keyboard + mouse for Player 1 and some controllers for Players 2 - 4.

I been tweaking the game feel this weekend.
Added little screenshake, small muzzlecircle and some sprite flashes when shooting and receiving a hit. Also tweaked sound effects and some other small fixes. The game feels atleast 30% better now. Not so static. Im not so happy with the screenshake, I supose I have to find some better solution but for now it will do.




Here is the new blood effect. When you get shot the particle effect will burst blood on depending the direction the hit was. Few years ago I couldnt even imagine how to make these vector stuff etc, but today it took me around 20minutes of coding.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

This week I totally re-done weapon and inventory scripts. Now I am using scriptable objects in Unity and making new weapon is so much faster. The game is reading all the weapon data from a file. Example the length of the animations are depending information of the weapon, not vice versa. If I adjust the reload to last 3 seconds, the animation will play exactly that amount etc.

 I cant wait to get this imported to the Gameplay.
Because every weapons data is saved as an asset. In the future it should be easy to the players adjust/mod/make their own weapons.

Ay! Feedback. Thanks guys for the support.

Ohmnivore, I have to say if there would have been one comic to inspire me making this game it would has to be Gone with blastwave. I just love the athmosphere and the humor in that comic. I think I first read it already like ten years ago? woah time goes fast.

Mochnant Its strange to think thats its almost 4 years that I started this project. Had my up and downs with it and there has been times I havent worked on it for months. I supose my biggest struggle has always been to learn programmin (and being too lazy with it lol). Well.. Finally I can work on this daily and the programming skill isnt issue anymore. The thing to motivates me is to see other people playing the game and laughing. So I think I am on a right track Smiley

Also most likely next week coming update to Itch.io on the splitscreen demo. That will include "only keyboard mode" for 2 players.. I supose not many people have controllers who play with PC.

Making currently shooting range, so atleast players could test the weapons in one level.



Here is the walking target drone, that I will be trying to program to the game next week.
Never did any A.I coding, but this should be fairly simple. Walking between two points Smiley

I finally got some of the "new" backgrounds imported to the game, here is a speedpainting video of making them.
Ps: there is also small teaser at the end of the video.





Steam page of Scatteria is almost done, waiting Valve to check it out. Also I need to make early access trailer for it too. But hopefully I got all that done next week.
