Hugs to any other students that are bogged down with final projects and studying and tests like I am.

Its all gonna be over soon... just gotta suck it up through one more busy and stressful weekend then I'm home free!

Thanks man...I've almost been up 24 hours now, and I've had very little sleep the nights before.  Probably won't make it to bed for another 12 hours.  I don't have a single exam, just a really painful design project; must...keep...cutting...

FUCK.

Hugs to all in similar positions; we'll make it through.  Tired Smiley

Hugs to everybody who (like me) has disappeared for a month due to no apparent reason.

Oh yeah, and those exams... hugs to you too.

I present my project in about 12 hours.

It's not 100% finished yet (probably 90%).

I got an email from my prof saying that she "orders" us to sleep.  WTF

I haven't slept more than 1/2 hour at a time for about two days now.  Tired

Well, no matter what happens it'll be over soon I guess.  Wink

That's my one comfort: good marks or bad, the stress will be gone soon.

Plus I've been doing reasonably well this semester so it's not like I'll spontaneously fail a class or anything.

I'm pretty much in the same boat, so I'm trying not to stress about tomorrow (especially given that it can't be worth that much in the big scheme of things).  I'll definitely be taking a hit from last year's Arts grades to this year's Architecture grades; I'll be satisfied if I can have a B/B+, and would be overjoyed to maintain an A/A-.

All of that said, portfolio matters a lot more than grades in Architecture, so I've got to keep that in mind too.

And of course I'm incredibly exited to be flying home to Edmonton on Saturday, so I've got that to keep me going.

Maybe you could hang out with Chevy and I sometime - we're planning on getting our game-making "arrangement" started sometime in January.

Don't know how long you're here for, though.

Anyway, *hugz*

You're like in first or second year, right? You eventually learn to either organize your time better, or not care about the deadlines so much that you'll spend a whole night up finishing something. So, I guess what I'm saying is: hugs!

2nd of Uni; first of the program (it has a qualifying year).  What makes it so much harder is that (this first year) the average project time is 2 weeks, so in this case I ended up having to switch my intent and start from scratch half way through that due to a pretty core disagreement with the prof that I knew I wouldn't be able to reconcile.

Anyway, it's over, it went well (my crit's happy), and I've had 12 hours of sleep to begin fixing the negative impact of staying up for 58.

HUGS!!!  Beer! Beer! Beer!

Well I'm finally done with school and I can relax and breath again.

Hugs to all other overwhelmed students who are now able to get on with their lives and dive into making games again!

Hugs for everyone who's worked on one project for a long time and has internal wars over whether or not she or he should keep working on it, because I and everyone I know has been there.

Also blobfish hugs to blobfish who need hugs

Hugs to me with an abscess on my tooth, face swollen from it and throbbing pain, drowsy from the painkillers, missing a big conference, stressed because I'm way behind on my work and can't seem to make any progress on it.

The blobfish is truly ugly. It's only hope of getting laid is to get a homo-/bisexual person so drunk that he sees his own reflection in its forhead and thinks "Doesn't look to shabby, that guy..."
