Shocked Co-op! I can't wait to see how that pans out. Also, I think Steel American, which is of course the name of the game's twitter handle, sounds a lot better.

A post after a long time. Working on a new level. This is more of an African themed level.

Youtube link of it in action.

Hey all.
There has been a lot of updates!
To recap, we are developing a game for PC titled Global Steel. This is a run-and-gun game inspired by Saturday-morning cartoons from the 80s (like M.A.SK., Centurions, etc.).

Our game has the artwork done right (we believe), and we are working on the core mechanics at the moment. There are various types of guns and perks. Armors (mech suits) can be upgraded as you progress through the game and you can switch up your gameplay style by changing those elements. Missions can be replayed and killing the final boss awards you with a trophy.

We have covered most of the first level of the game - as well as the first boss fight. The animations have been coming out well.
However, we are still working hard on the mechanics and what engages the player in the gameplay loop. Namely; what makes you come back. You can check out much of the art/screenshots here - www.macondogames.com

I like the fact that you used "The Centurions" inspiration in this, was a very good cartoon.
Your animations are very fluid and attractive.

I also noticed one of your game locations is Transylvania, are you by any chance from Romania or is the location random?

Been a while since the last post.

Progress has been steady if a bit slow, due to personal reasons etc. Looking to be more regular with updates.

Here is a GIF of the latest update.

We have integrated Yarn Spinner with Unity's localization system for our dialogue UI.
