yeah, because i'm looking for work constantly too since my income is all freelance and it's always good to have as many balls in the air as possible since only a few of them will fall back down you'll find me on the unity forums sometimes too (though i really don't like those forums too much) i send maybe 100-200 emails every week for freelance gigs; making sure i'm able to fill my (self-imposed, but) at least 15 hours of paid work a week is important to me sometimes i can't manage that, but i try would be nice if i didn't have to do it but i don't have a lot of money and i gotta pay rent, man 65 |

at the very least as much as/more than a lot of what i've seen other people contribute, which i recognize isn't the ultimate mark of coherency/tact but i think is a decent measure of social acceptability re: the forum-wide 'culture' that exists
i'm not just randomly posting jokes
i mean sometimes i am, but they're always contextual and relevant, or at least i try to be contextual and relevant. i mean sure, i fall into the "yes this looks great keep going" school of trap when i post to devlogs/other threads occasionally (though i do genuinely try to catch myself before i do) but other than that i try to make posts that contribute something to a discussion, even if it's small
i might fuck up in that regard sometimes but, you know, whatever
