I find that your choice of font sits uneasily with me. I imagine when I see it rendered in osx that I will find it several times more pleasant (I 'XP' at the moment). Such are my tastes.

It looks like the font is Helvetica, or if that's not available, falls back to Arial (Microsoft's licensing-fee free ripoff of Helvetica). While a sans serif might not be the best for everyday reading, it's pretty nice overall. It uses bold Helvetica italics for its own logo (not Arial). Anyway, yes. |

I don't know if I like the new screenshots. The perspective shot doesn't make the game look good, even though you kind of have to show it that way to at least point out to people that, hey, this isn't just a standard platformer. Comparing these 3 new screens to the screens of the older version, I like the older ones better. This is mostly due to the solids/world being lighter than it used to be, making Fez not look as good as he did against some darker shades. White against bright colors doesn't look that good. I am nonetheless looking forward to seeing the game in motion and getting to play it! |
