thinkin of the gunlimb problem the other day i got an awesome idea for the tigboxes. how about dividing them into categorys? i thinked something like:
-Blue Tigbox: the generic box that can contain every support character.
-Red Tigbox: only melee or smashing characters appear from this boxes (Sexy hiker, cabbadath, Noitu love, Runman, Rilo, N bot, etc)
-Yellow Tigbox: only strategic characters appear from this boxes (Gunlimb, Karoshi, Rope burner, Marisa, etc)
-Green Tigbox: only special/effect characters appears from this boxes (Juni, Viridian, Ogmo, Tim, Meatboy, Damsel, etc)
now maybe there will be a hard discussion of the clasifications if this idea is aproved by Soulliard but that way some support characters will no longer be hard to use (specially Gunlimb). so, what do you say?

That's not a bad idea, but I think simple is probably better. Plus, the ideal placement for different strategic characters is different for each one.

got some suggestions:
-Drone (Click Copter): when picked up it follows the player and shoot close enemies. depending of the weapon it has it is divided in 3 kinds:
 -Gray: normal white bullets
 -Green: lightsaber
 -Red: bombs (or maybe misiles)
and this suggestion is really crazy
TigPills: when the player takes the pill he morphs into an iconic character for some time. for obvious reasons this iconic characters can't be the main characters of this game and they need to have an special ability (Ogmo=speed and multijumps,The Kid=fast bullets and long jumps,Hatman=boomerang hat,Addict=jumping on people morphs them on blue monsters,ChalkGirl=flying, etc). it's a crazy idea but it could work. what do you think?

If you're going to spend the time making them into playable characters, then why wouldn't you make them main characters?

(The answer is that it would take too much effort for what it's worth)

they were supposed to be simple characters with an ability or 2, but i guess you're right.

hell, if it'll get the grasshopper into the game quicker i'll draw a green ball!


lighter green is closer to ingame, but i thought it looked better a little darker

while we're on, i've had a try at the potion of inversion. I think the hardest part is to let the player know that this potion is a bit of a double-edged sword. i can imagine it causing confusion to players who aren't familiar with the game (or for that matter, people who don't realise that this sprite represents the item from the roguelike)
