Gives a neat thumb-nail view of your source code. Very handy for when looking through an MASSIVE API file.

Sorry. It is for MS Visual Studio only Sad but knowing them it already exists in an open source project

That's a code minimap. You can find the same thing in the excellent Sublime editor.

Should point out, that's the commercial Visual Studio, the express editions don't support plugins

If you've played Supreme Commander or Dyson, or used Google Maps, you'll know what kind of scrolling system I'd like to see implemented in text editors.

Thanks T&B. MSVC is great, but still needs help, or at least sensible key bindings to do things like switch tabs.

Glad to help!

Regarding switching tabs with a key press -> ctrl-tab. Not the solution I would like but is faster then using the mouse.
