In the course of refactoring I made some minor changes to the animation. Some of them are hard to notice because of the dropped frames in the gif.

I changed the tilt when you run to lean into the angle based on your speed instead of just snap to it. Its subtle but it makes it look a hell of a lot better.

Added some tilt to your attack animation, which makes it look more forceful.

Also there are some ridiculous sprites that I cant stop laughing at.

Because of how easy it is to draw cubes with faces, I hope we can expect plenty of characters?

That is one of 3 playable characters. They ranged in speeds, attack duration, and attack reach. This guy is by far the fastest, but has the shortest reach.

Here's hoping you stick with the 'block' look, for it's simplicity you manage to infuse it with lots of character, and I think it makes the game stand out, playability-wise it looks brilliant!

Really I am sticking with that out of necessity right now. If somebody comes along with some real art one of these days I will be all over it.
