Hi,

My name is Francisco and I am an IT Engineer and VR & AR fan, specialist, enthusiast etc. I started learning Unity3d and now I am Unity3d certified developer.

Now, I am developing a game in Unity3d for HTC focus because I think it would be good for my portfolio. I do not have many problem designing and implementing the game, the problems arise in the artistic areas: Textures, drawings, effects, UI, environment, music, sounds etc.. I have developing others games but they were prototypes.

If you would like to collaborate with me, Let me know!  Hand Any Key

Also, if you need advice or support in VR and AR app/games it would be a pleasure to help you.

Greetings to the whole community.

Hello from Ireland!

I'm an Ex-indie developer, I say ex because I wasn't able to make it happen and due to certain life situations had to knock it on the head about 5 years ago. That's a whole miserable story I do not wish to bore anyone with. But now I'm back in the world of indie development, albeit from a side-perspective, as a voice actor, and I've worked with some indie developers lately, and it reminded me how much I miss the community. So here I am, back, and hoping to get to know you all well and possibly even get to work with you as a contributor to your next game.

In case anyone's curious, my previous games were on Kongregate and later I launched one on Google Play, might even still be there...

But I'll give details of that another time when I'm feeling nostalgic and in accordance with forum policy.

Hope you're all having a great day.

Hi from Australia!

The only sense in which I'm an indie developer is that I sometimes make weird game-things for friends' birthdays - originally on the old TI 81+ calculators in high school, more recently by pushing Twine to do things it's really not supposed to do.

I've lurked on these forums before because it's interesting to see the weird things people make that nobody plays. I think the world is ever so slightly the better for these things existing, and I want to contribute my small share of weirdness to the universe too.

Hello everyone, nice to be here Smiley

I've been producing music for around 7 years now, and even though I have dipped my toes in gamedev previously I am only just now diving into it. I fell in love with physics games a long time ago, back when Fun-Motion was still around. Currently, I'm developing PBAB, a Physics Based Arena Brawler.

Howdy folks!

My name is Gerald! I've been making games for about three years now. I dropped out of a game design bachelor's about halfway through, around the time I discovered I could teach myself what I needed to know for waaay cheaper. Now I'm working on a more practical CS degree and making games in just about my every spare moment. I'm a generalist, but I'm a much stronger programmer than an artist.

Aside from that I'm husband of nearly a decade, a father of two, and I live up in the Appalachian mountains of Northeast Tennessee. Recently I've been working on a game with a buddy of mine that we intend to put out under our new moniker 'Cephalomania Games'. Most of the stuff I've worked on can be found here. Looking forward to getting to know everybody!

Hi folks  Gomez

I've been a hobbyist for ages (dayjob = dev), but never actually finished something  Facepalm I'm sure many can relate. I tend to play with tech more than actually trying to make an actual game, but this year I aim to change that! So I started working on a small scope game for once, yet somehow it seems to keep increasing in scope. Roll Eyes I'm aiming for an early access release on Steam in May, and I *think* I can still make it. Anyway, feel free to check it out:

Greetings fellow Indie developers.  Just wanted to give a brief intro of myself.  I've been working on games for most of my life but never did get into the industry... and then life happened.  I've decided now that I'm a bit older that I should really consider following my passion and get back into making games.  Publishing a game is a bit of a bucket list item for me which is why I'm here.

My goal is to publish a game in the next year.  I've got the concept down and have done most of the game design document.  I'm just going through the prototype phase with the Godot engine (2D).  I'm not going to release much information about the game until I have something interesting to show.

Expect some regular updates from me here and I'll be participating in the community here as much as I can.

Cheers!

Hello, my name is Zouhair, I'm an indie game developer from Morocco.

I've been playing games all my life, I enjoy all sorts of games from the arcade shooters to the deepest strategy games. I'm currently spending tons of hours on Factorio, RimWorld, Europa Universalis 4, Kerbal Space Program and Kenshi, and in parallel, developing games for my studio: Vibrant Allegory.

I also play ArmA, I've played every iteration of it since Operation Flashpoint, I enjoy military simulators a lot.

I love stealth games, I've spent countless hours on Hitman (all games) and Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and V.

Don't get me started on XCom EU and XCom 2, I think I'm emotionally attached to these games, and I don't think it's healthy.

I don't usually post on forums, I'm mostly a "Lurker" as it says on my profile. I read a lot of posts around here though, I've acquired multiple skills through online communities like this one throughout the years. You guys rock  Hand Metal Right

Hello! I'm Justine, nice to meet you all!

I work for the video games studio Advenworks, based in France Smiley We're specialized in casual mobile games.

I live in France, in a village (my house is in the middle of a forest lol) not too far from Paris.

I play video games since I can walk, I think. I begun with PS1, with my hero Spyro.
I play games ever since, on mobile, PS4, PS3 & PC.
My favorite games are Mass Effect (all of them), Final Fantasy Saga, and narrative games.

I'm doing my video game whenever I have spare time. It's a visual novel, with renpy (python). I hope it will be good, but I have so much to learn!

Hello!  I'm a long time programmer who's learning Unity for the first time.  My dream is to some day be able to make a living making games, particularly NSFW games.

To be honest, I joined this forum because I'm looking for feedback on the game I'm currently making.  It's a NSFW game, but in order to get more feedback, I've decided to make a SFW build of it.

My favorite video games are probably Final Fantasy 2 (US) and Metal Gear Solid (Game Cube).

Hello to everyone!

I'm a software engineer (mostly OS development) by trade, but I've been a hobbyist game modder/dev for much, much longer. Starting in the early 90's, I have been fiddling with mods and custom content for Doom engine games, Build, and everything else I could get my hands on. I've been a spirited follower of the indie game scene since the early 2000's as well.

Now that I'm finally in a fairly stable position in life, I've begun working on full projects in earnest for the first time. And so, here I am!

Hey!

I'm an artist. Well, I guess. For years I was trying to do something, tell my own story - through art, music, writing and so on.

I ended up being fascinated about how many interactions you can make while playing a game. It's not just watching, it's not just listening, it's being the one who makes show go on. So I thought it would be something suitable for me, making a game.

I was working on few small projects that was killed in early development, but I'm not easy-give-up type of person. I've learned a lot and still willing to learn a lot more. And of course - I love games and game communities.

I may seem new to you, but was checking this forum once a while. Now I want you to check what I'm working on. I don't have a much free time, but I'll always try to check your projects and deliver you proper feedback.

Have a nice day!

Hello!  I've lurked on this forum for a while, and really a ton of forums for a while.  I'm theinfamousmrmeow on some other stuff, if we've run across each other.  I was on Game Maker Community during like 2004 and up, poppenkast things, pixeljoint, bunch of others.  I'm a programmer type person, and I'm pretty tired of not finishing games.

Hi TIGSource community!
My friend recently recommended me to this site, and it looks pretty awesome.

I have been super interested in games since I can remember (cliche, I know..). I had also always been in some form of creative arts, drama, drawing, yet settling on music. It wasn't until I met some great developers at uni where I studied music, that I realised this was such a deep rabbit hole of amazing people and incredible, incredible works of art. I felt like I needed to be a part of it somehow, and thus I was compelled to launch myself into this field!

I'm getting more into designing my own games for practice, but my true passion lies within making the noise for these experiences. I just finished my website which I'll post in my portfolio page!
I really like writing anything from orchestral, electronic and/or utilising music from different cultures. I play the Japanese bamboo flutes Shakuhachi, and Shinobue, as well as a heap of western instruments, like the guitar & piano etc etc.

Some of my favourite game soundtracks include Links Awakening, Animal Crossing, Earthbound, Dark Souls 1/3 & subsequently Bloodborne (and now Sekiro.. love a soundtrack with the Shakuhachi!). Manaka Kataoka's soundtrack for BOTW I thought is stunning and works for their aesthetic so well. There are so many more but I'd be here all day explaining why I love them all.
I have a huge consideration for visual aesthetic and how music can represent these aesthetics, for example, I love the way the music in Professor Layton and the Curious Village reflects the wabi-sabi run down aspect of the sepia toned perspective on the french-esque village, while still permeating Professor Layton's inquisitive character.

Currently, I am writing music for a few projects, one personal project, and I am on the lookout for more!
Thanks for reading, and I hope to meet and chat to some of you soon!  Coffee  Beer!
