Hi everyone!!

We want to introduce ourselves in this forum. We are DropOuts, a group of game dev students from Spain.

We´re doing our first major project, WillWalke Cool. We´re very excited about the evolution it is having and we want to share it with those who are interested.

Take a look at the Devlogs section. We hope you like it and are aware of the progress.
Thanks a lot! Wink

Hey!

I'm an ex-Googler software engineer who's now taking the time to grow as a game developer!

So far my focus is on pixel-art-based 2D platformers using the Godot game engine.

Most of my interesting info can be found here: https://levi.dev

Cheers!

Hi Everyone,

My name’s Jon and I’m a hobby game developer.  Development is squeezed in between the day job (product management in a large multinational completely unconnected to gaming) and family.  Given the limited time available progress is at best ‘steady’ especially as I insist on building everything from ground up … why use Unreal, Unity or whatever if you can build your own games engine from scratch?  Despite these masochistic tendencies I’m making nice progress on my most recent project … what this space (actually what a completely different space on the DevLog forum as soon as I get organised!  Wink)

Hello! My name is Mayella! I'm a programmer who has an almost completed game! I'm just waiting on the finishing touches, so currently, I am bug squashing and playtesting.

I have been programming in GML for 4-5 years. I really enjoy it. I've worked on 80+ projects, but I'm about to finish my first one. Along-side this almost finished game, I am playing around with other ideas and programs. If anyone wants to talk or anything, lmk!

Hi, I'm Mark and I used to develop games in the late 1980s and early 1990s on the BBC Micro when I was a kid.  Then life & work took over, as it does, but I've just developed my first game again and published it at https://bannister.itch.io and on Google Play Store last month, with much thanks to GDevelop for making the whole process relatively easy.

I decided it was time to bring back updated versions of some of the great games I remember from when I was a kid, so, I'm trying to do that in my spare evenings.

Hi everyone!

We are Ambitious Games, a group of three game dev students from Spain. At the moment, we are working on our new project Beat Em Down, a First Person Shooter rhythm game that uses songs imported as levels.

We hope you like our game and future devlogs content. Any kind of feedback will be of great help for the development of our game! Thanks!  Smiley

Games to raise your eyelids

Hi all!

We are Amonit Studio, a band of indie game creators with high hopes.

Ultimately we want to express ourselves artistically through the creation of intriguing, outside-the-box games that will cause players to raise their eyelids in awe! But before we are capable of doing that, we are going to release a couple of smaller, simpler titles. Rome was not built in a day Smiley

We are happy to join TigSource and we are looking forward to participating in the community Smiley

Our website: https://amonit.io

Cheers!

AmpCoppo I am a independent game developer. Working on my first real game. So far looking to be an open world action adventure.

I have only been at this for about a year but have been gaming forever.
My folks had pong and from there I was always in the arcade. Ikari Warriors and Victory road are still 2 all time favs. But I must say Yoshi and Kirby hold my top spots.

I use to crack and hack machines in my juvenile times but now I am all about development.

I have been recording my work in hopes of others learning from it.

After a few years away form Gamedev I have decided to take my ongoing Longcovid incapacitation as a spark to use the time I get for making another game.
Pretty serious about my project and if I fully commit will stick to it for a few years.

Hello everyone,

My name is Lui, I'm from Brazil but living in France at the moment. I really love making games, especially programming them, but since I am mostly doing them by myself I also make some pixel art and music, which is also fun. Here in Paris I am doing my PhD (in physics) and developing games in my free time. Despite not being directly connected to my studies, I'm hoping I can work with this full-time one day.

See you around!   Coffee

PS: if anyone wants to see what I've been doing, I'm posting my games here: https://grayfog.itch.io/

Hello everyone!

My name is Leonice Brown-Young Jr, I (like probably many of you) have always wanted to get into Game Development since I was young. In 2014 I started my company MoonRift Entertainment with 0 experience, lost a lot of money early or rather paid for my experience.

Decided to go back to school for my M.B.A. then went to school for my M.F.A. in Game Design so that I could really understand how to run and publish video games.

Didn't know it, but I fell in love with programming and the limitless potential, and so I started making many of my own projects. Toy Kingdom is the main project that I am focused on working on, I see it as a series that I will continue to build upon with each iteration so that I can get use to publishing and finishing on time.

I also have a team of people who are working on a project called Soul Guard, which is pretty cool game about creature possession and open exploration. Anywho, this is my first attempt at forum communities so bear with me. If you've read this far, then thank you, I would love to connect.

Hello everyone, I am Jenhuei and founder of Luminous Games. We are a small indie studio based in Christchurch, NZ. Well, actually just myself here and I work with my sister who lives in Malaysia. I am from Malaysia too and moved to NZ 4 years ago, because NZ is the dream country for many people, so who does not want to move here right? Smiley

Anyway, I have been focusing on developing the game in the past few years and not aware about the big community of indie gaming in the past. It is not too late to know though, so, nice to meet you all here.

Hello, I'm Cory. I work as a programmer making casino games. I'm primarily experienced in Unity and C#, but have a variety of other small skillsets, including making lots of misc tools, I also heavily enjoy game design. I work on a bunch of spare projects in my free time, most of which I don't finish, but I will soon be finishing one to be released this year. I play lots of D&D, have a cat named Loaf, and just like games.
