Hello everybody! Sanna from Sweden here! I'm a part of a small indie studio who have released one small game and are working on our second one. We have not really been involved that much in the community, mainly because gamedev easily takes all the time we have as it is. I started getting interested in games back as a child playing Gast: The Greatest Little Ghost on PC and watching my older siblings playing Perfect Dark and Golden Eye on the N64. Didn't figure out until waaaay later that it's actually a profession and after some years of finding my path into the industry here I am! And these days I have been playing a little bit to much of some Hollow Knight mods. I'm manly a producer right now but I also do design, writing and UI. As I said earlier we are working on our second project right now so I will probably post some about that game in the future. Just to peak your interests this is our description text on Steam right now: "Renovate homes with your friends in this radical fast paced organ-based physics defying multiplayer refurbishing experience!" Well then, until next time! /Sanna

My name is David Robert Quigley. I started the ancestor appreciation club and all religions accepted library called "We Love The Oldest Parents". Our motto is "We are all one family, call them God or Goddess, theyre still our parents". As a youth I learned about the development tools of RPG Maker and have recently decided to try and contribute a free Retro RPG using the tool RPG Maker MV. The game is called "Our Oldest Parents: The One Family Story". The game follows morales of ancestor appreciation through religious choice and history, is meant to be fun and to comingle fans of both the club and the game itself. Below are some links to learn more about the game, please follow us on Game Jolt and Itch.IO and like us on facebook. https://gamejolt.com/games/ooptofs/688719https://wltop.itch.io/our-oldest-parents-the-one-family-storyhttps://www.facebook.com/ooptofsIf a ancestor appreciation club that welcomes all religions seems appealing to you, below is a link to our website, we do prayer art, stories, thoughts, and emotional support. https://welovetheoldestparents.com/

Hello, everyone! My name is Angie and I am the marketing Community Manager for the company Legio Vox Studios! We're making a Western mobile gacha RPG game called The End of the Line: New Age! It's strongly based around worldbuilding, storytelling, and making decisions that matter a great deal to the story! We're a rather small indie dev team, of around 30+ people and they are wonderful people, at that. TEOTLNA is still in development, but we're working as hard and as dedicated as we can to bring our game to the public! As for me, I have loved indie games for years and for even longer, had dreamt of working in the gaming industry as a Game Master or even better, a Community Manager. I started this position last November and am so so grateful and proud of myself to have my dream job! Plus, I get to read about indie games all day and support them! I'm excited to be here, to chat with other devs and CMs, talk about indie games, and just make some like-minded friends! If you're interested in our game, here is our website ( https://www.teotlna.com/)! We also are very active on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/TEOTLNewAge) and our Discord ( https://discord.gg/Z5WQCFTswG)! If you'd like to follow me personally, here is my CM-based Twitter ( https://twitter.com/LegioVoxAngie)! Take care and feel free to DM me if you want to talk! Especially if you'd like to share your game. I'd be SO happy to wishlist what you have, follow your social media, and so on!

Hi everyone, I've been making games as an amateur indie for almost 7 years. I wanted to take it seriously and become a full-time indie developer. I'm gonna be making a devlog real soon, also I'm really excited to see you all's works. Good luck!

Hello Everyone! My name is Jeremy and I've always enjoyed making games. I'm glad I've found a community like this. I'm only just starting to learn C#, Unity and bits of Blender, but really enjoying myself so far. Although I'm a lawyer now by day, I've always enjoyed making things, and used to make board games for my friends to play, or we'd come up with imaginary games to entertain ourselves. A friend of mine eventually introduced me to a programme called The Games Factory back in the late 90s, which allowed me to make very basic games without specific programming language knowledge. Looking forward to sharing my progress with everyone and hopefully making fun games! I'll be recording my journey on YouTube, so feel free to check it out at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEyjD6YKxZ82ay1LrUl7uPwI'll also try to set up a proper DevLog on TIGSource

Hello friends! I'm Deviana Magenta, a pixel art aficionado and game design nerd. My favorite games are RPGs, metroidvanias, and interactive stories. What hooks me on a game is usually the plot, characters, and/or lore. I'm a big fan of fantasy and mythology; I love animals, especially cats, and my favorite game right now is Omori!

Hey all! Your typical gamer and movie buff here. I've written and drawn a billion ideas down in notebooks and have finally decided to take the plunge to bring them to life. Art and writing is my passion. I did coding years ago and I am mediocre at best. Any help is welcome! No matter how basic! I plan to make point and click puzzle games and I have no idea where to start. Unreal or unity? let me knowwwwwwww I have a special spot in my heart for the flash animation game Gretel and Hansel. If you remember this hiddem gem, or any other old school point and clicks hit me up to talk nerdy shit. Tim Schafer is another favourite. Obviously. Greetings and salutations from Melbourne

Hello everyone. I am also from Melbourne, like Zero.Cool. My name is Marie, I'm a web developer and Unity programmer. I'm a lady who likes cats a lot and has a background in programming, 3D and visual design (and outside of that, running and jumping IRL, I used to film). I have experience with Game Maker, Unity and Blender, and I'm also that only person I know who regularly makes use of Adobe Fireworks. I'm definitely addicted to FFXIV right now, but before that I was also addicted to city-builders (and I'm fascinated with transport infrastructure). I've also played the Trackmania games for most of my life (I make community content for them from time to time). Thank you for having me

Hello, my name is Ben Tallamy - I'm an actor/musician from Devon, UK. Been working as an actor for about 15 years, mainly in site-specific touring (performed in spaces we take over, such as historic buildings, caves etc) theatre shows. Like many, during the lockdown, I was rethinking my life and decided to make a game with John Beardsly, a programmer who I know through being in bands. We got Arts Council funding research and development on a mixed-media digital art experience. I have a lot of experience with film making and audio production and obviously know lots of actors/makers, so for just over a year now I've been working on our game, Cradlemoor. I grew up gaming with an Amstrad CPC 464 but really flourished during the PS1 era - I have a massive collection of old game platforms. For me, gaming is pure escapism - I'm particularly interested in the many ways games can deliver narrative experiences. Here's my website: www.bentallamy.com (slow load - i didn't code it!) I'll share my game in the other thread but I may be worth keeping in mind if anyone needs any voice actors as I know loads of English actors who may be game. All the best!

Hi, I'm Starturbo! I had another account here before but deleted it for some reason. Anyways, I'm an artist and developer who's worked on several indie games and other projects over the years. I'm most familiar with GameMaker, though I've used other engines like Godot before as well. Here's my website if you want to learn more about me and my most recent project which I released (more will be added in the future): https://thestarturbo.weebly.comGlad to be here again!

Hi, I'm Anil and I love gaming. I'm working as a database dev for the last three years. I play games after what time I have left from a 6 day 9-5 job. I started game development as a side hustle a few weeks ago. Thanks to brackets, GMTK, and Pandemonium I have learned a lot. I kinda find passion and satisfaction in doing this. I made small games following tutorials and then GMTK taught me to not follow tutorials and play with my own ideas. So I started by building a flappy bird game. after a few hustles, here I'm making a new game that I really wanna work on. I was scrolling through Reddit and people told me about this place and itch.io. that's it. Thanks for reading. Pardon me for grammatic mistakes

Hi!
I'm a casual game developer. When I was a kid I loved Valve stuff: Half-Life, Counter-Strike... Then I discovered Nintendo world. Platformer games, or Mario Kart, was my favourite. Finally, I fell in love with mobile games. You could say I adore Java mobile era. Diamond Rush, for instance. But in the end, I realize what I appreciate the most is originality. So I would say Minecraft is my favourite and probably the best game ever made!
Recently, I became interested in game development. I have some prototipes, mostly 2D game engines, and keep learning everyday!

Hey there, my friends call me YYZ! I love programming and creating 3D art! I enjoy using game engines to make cool stuff - from games, to interactive experiences, to mobile apps, and pushing the boundaries of real-time experiences and animations. I am now building a chillax resource management simulation game similar to the likes of Stardew Valley. You can check it out here! https://yyz.itch.io/strandedDiscussion thread: https://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=73213.0I like resource management and base building games having sunk many hours into Factorio, Dyson Sphere Program and Frostpunk.

Hi forum, I am Shensong Zhao who is currently studying in University of Michigan. Currently I am enrolled in a course where I am doing game designs in Unity. My group and I are currently working on our final project. We are all passionate about becoming a game designer. However, as beginners to the Unity and this field, we are hoping to get suggestions and feedbacks from outside on our game. In this way, we could make deep improvements on our game, and we would really appreciate your efforts! Thank you!
