I'm Yaron ZeeGee Frezi, zeegee-games.com ,
Full time professional magician and mentalist and a hobbyist indie game dev (releasing my first commercial game ShapeShifter in a few weeks for PC and Android! https://bit.ly/3K0Lzaa  100% free no ads no paywalls no in app!)

40 years old, married + 2 adorable kids (7 and 4).

I've resumed my long time teen passion to create games around 4 years ago when the pandemic was raging and I had no shows, stuck at home.

Hello world(s)!

I'm Nacho (in Spain that's the nickname for Ignacio Wink) and I've been working in the games industry as a Game Designer for 12 years now - mostly in mobile, free to play games for big companies, and additionally as a mentor and design consultant for indie studios for the past 6 years - which is something that I enjoy a lot. I've always been an indie at heart and usually play the weirdest games that come out each year (not a big fan of the typical AAA's, if you know what I mean).

On 2024 I was lucky enough to get an European grant to produce the demo of a game about which I'll talk soon in the corresponding forum section Smiley

Glad to be part of this community!

I'm Barry, a retired accountant. Back in the 80's and 90's my hobby was computer programming (BASIC, QuickBasic and Turbo/Borland Pascal). I had written some applications for my job using TurboVison a text based user interface. For my own projects I wrote a windows-like graphical interface. My sprite creator is something I wrote using this interface back in 1994.

Now that I'm retired I have time to go back to coding a bit. I'm still using Borland Pascal 7.0, running in DOSBox. At some point I'm going to start with Lazarus.

Hi, I'm Rob and I'm a hobbyist game dev with my partner, but also a data scientist, SaaS product leader, and former professor of applied math. I've been around for a minute Smiley

I made nerdy 2D games as "Transient Dynamic". https://transient-dynamic.itch.io/

I'm Georg, but you can absolutely call me Banani.

The first game I remember playing might have been AoE 1 and over the course of my childhood I played ungodly amounts of
Little Fighter 2, Gothic 1 & 2, AoE 2, GTA 2/3, and of course the legendary Clonk (Planet, then Endeavour).
Not that I ever got any good at these, but they were always fun to play Wink
Loved messing around with games like LF2 that wouldn't bat an eye if you changed their sprites. Man, MS Paint was one hell of a drug back then...

Nowadays I enjoy rogue-lites like Hades, occasionally a round of nethack once I forget how bad I am at it (maybe I need spoilers one day), and whatever Souls-Like I can get my hands on Wink

I'm a programmer by trade, but never went to uni for it, love doing my own art, and severely struggle with doing my own "music".

I've been trying to make games for around 10 years, ever since I picked up programming and noticed it was something I was even remotely capable of.
I could say I've shipped a few games, but it always feels like I just did the bare minimum and as if they're never done.
Also, marketing absolutely ain't my strong suit, so not many people have played them, haha^^
And I've been addicted to reading some of the devlogs on here lately and kinda wanna try my hand at one too!
