What up TIGers? My name is Eddie Lee. And although I've been reading TIG and the forums for quite a while, I just recently decided to finally become a member of this delicious forum. I've developed a game about a half year ago called "Planet Umi", so that I can finally learn how to program a game. It was coded in Python/pygame and the project has been abandoned awhile ago. Here's an old screenshot of the game: Anyhow, my fav mainstream games include: Chrono Trigger (which was just released today on the DS), Final Fantasy Series, Castlevania, Super Mario Series, and many others that I fail to mention. My favorite indie games: world of goo, cavestory , kyntt stories is pretty cool too. On my free time, I like to beer , wear tophats , play guitar/bass, practice brazilian jiu jitsu (blue belt), surf, and other verbs. That's basically what I'm about. Nice to meet you all.

it's actually a playable game. i haven't worked on it on ages. and the music is copyright (chrono trigger); was planning to change it before the release, but the project was abandoned was too lazy to find new music. http://planetumi.googlecode.com/files/planetumi_0.5.8_win.zip

Hello! I've been lurking around here for quite a while. I looked at the Demake compo, but by the time I bothered to apply my Python skills to make games, it was already over. As for my game creation experience; I'm a jack of all trades. Well, if "useless random computer knowledge, including Blender, Python and The Games Factory" is your definition of "all trades". I haven't gotten around to doing anything more than demos. Hopefully, the deadlines in the TIG compos are going to make me finish the projects I start.. And that's about it. I'll finish by saying that j00 R ALL NERDZ WITH NO LIVEZ(sorry, typo ) I admire this community; especially your abilities to create games I can't ever hope to make...in less than a month. (Now to get rid of the Manbaby, send in the compo entry, and hope I'm not lynched for making a bad entry.)

So, we have Egoraptor.
I'm hoping David Firth joins TIGSource before 2009.

Wait, what? I didn't know who that was, then I googled, and it's the guy who made Salad Fingers!?! That super creepy flash series that I've avoided watching!?! I think at this point we need more music talent around here, as it would be nice to have lots of TIGers to team up with in that regard (more than those already here, who do a fine job I might add).

Oh man, you need to watch David Firth.
If I was an overly-effusive newspaper columnist I would describe him as a "comic genius."
Everyone needs to watch Burnt Face Man, and The Child That Smelt Funny, and A Black and White Cartoon about Berries (and its sequel and prequel) and The Latest Model and and and everything.

Hmmm, some of those don't sound as weird as the description of Salad Fingers I'd heard from friends (unless those are names of Salad Fingers episodes). Maybe I'll check it out sometime...maybe. I'm not so much into ultra-unsettling-weirdness, which is why certain cactus games totally put me off (even though I'll admit they're good games anyway). I haven't even touched the Mondo games because of this (though I figure I'll probably play them at some point, get really unsettled, and then regret playing them).

Greetings TIGers! I am ras, and I've lurked the TIGForums off and on. I am currently working on a few game projects (currently?! well, ok, I am always working on a few game projects) and of course I don't want to limit myself so I am working on an arcade shooter (multi direction top down is the best ), turn based old school computer RPG, God game/RTS (where you don't control your units directly) and an adventure/puzzle game. I mainly program, but I try to do as much as possible since I've always so far been burnt on team projects. I was going to spend today coding, but I bought Neverhood from a friend for a beer, and now I seem to have to complete it before doing probably anything else. Oh well. Cheers
