ya - corporate ladder was a mode we've had for a long time that just wasn't quite working until we re-visited it by removing the babies. Once we did that the focus became more simplified & it became really fun. here's the rough artwork for the factory level plugged in

This game looks fun.
I can't wait to beat off other dads.
...wait, that don't sound right.
In all seriousness, I look forward to this game.
I have a couple of questions.
1) Is it possible to throw your own baby?
It'd be cool to use your baby as a weapon or throw the baby any direction you want as a strategy to keep the other dad's away.
2) What game modes will there be?
I can see ones like:
Hold The Baby: There is only one baby and the goal is to have the most amount of time holding the baby. Whoever has the most at the end of the time wins.
Baby Basketball: One or two nets in a stage. Need to grab the baby and throw the baby in the basket.
Ice, Ice, Baby: Be the last one standing on top of slippery stages and try not to fall off.
3) Is there any power ups?
It'd be cool to see ones like:
Dirty Diaper: The player that gets hit with this is slowed down for 3 seconds.
Mother's Milk: The player that drinks this is able to punch once with more force than normal. If the player has their baby on their back then this power up will allow the dad to be hit once without losing the baby.
4) Is this being made in your own engine or are you using a third party one?
This looks fun. Congrats on everything so far.
Also, I look forward to Mother Beat Mother DLC and know what OJ Simpson, Chris Brown, and Floyd Mayweather feel like. :D

I can't decide whether he is more fish or more dad. Hmm, perplexing.

Here's a new stage for Diaper Sniper using the Temple/Jungle theme. The center plat moves vertically & is solid, making the diaper-throwing a little more 'brainy'

This might be a long shot but is it possible to add in "portals" into Diaper Sniper, so we can throw the diaper through a portal and have it come out the other side? Maybe have it go through one side of the screen and come out the other. Adds a little more strategy to aiming and dodging.
The new stage looks awesome. :D

I think at some point we were actually tossing this idea around, but overruled it because of the screen wrap. So this portal effect would essentially do the same thing that happens when you throw an object through the edge of the stage, it teleports to the other side.

That's exactly what I was hoping for. Using the screen warp to our advantage is awesome. Could you give some insight as to how you achieved the screen warp effect? Do you just have a duplicate of the player there and use some sort of masking?
