Hmm, I don't think I've ever met anyone from TIGs at one of those. I'm sure lots of people have accounts here though.

Sketched out a title screen !!!!! #BraveDads #DadliestDads #FellowDads We're going to be working on this pretty much non-stop for the next couple of weeks. We're hoping that will take a huge chunk out of the % complete.

Do different dads have different powers, strengths, and weaknesses?

we've been tossing that idea around, but at this stage we think we want to keep everyone on the same playing field, so the dads will just be cosmetic. That said we think adding a powerup up drop that gives each dad his own unique super ability for a short time, sort of like the smash ball would be a nice middle ground Here's a color thumbnail for a lava type level and another for Jungle mode, where when you capture an opponent's baby, your door rises up higher & a peacock yells at you

Thumbnails are looking superb. Limiting to the father's to aesthetic changes will certainly keep the scope dramatically smaller. Do you have a timeframe you're looking to complete the game in?

We don't want the scope of the game getting out of hand, since we're putting this game together on a barely existing budget. If money fell from the sky & we could afford it, we'd love to make a larger scoped version of the game for sure. I've made a Tumblr devlog here, so follow us over there too!

I'm in a similar place on my current game, working on a small budget means I have to minimize scope and feature-creep as often as possible. As such, I'm anticipating a very linear experience. Dont think I clarified that in my comment, but I think its a great move to minimize scope while still providing the player with variety. Will check out the Tumblr.

The 4 of us have never published a game before, so we're also using this as a learning experience as well
