I've hit a point where my art is not bad enough to be critiqued, but not good enough for people to really like it.
Whenever I show someone some recent work they're just like "oh that's nice" and then move on.
I'm not complaining or anything, I don't draw to please others, but positive feedback is a good way to objectively see if my art is "good" or not.
Have any of you guys have this happen to them? If so, how did/do you get better with a shortage of tips and constructive criticism?

Do you really need criticism to move forward? Can't you tell yourself? After all your goal is to endlessly improve, so why bother? Make something that pleases you and just keep making more and improve.

And to answer your question, I stopped expecting criticism.
