The URL at the bottom is in there from the game by default - I want onlookers to always be able to see what game is being played at a glance, and I'm hoping it reinforces the name of the game. It sounds like it's not a big distractor though?
It might be one of those personal preferences. To me it seems like an "advertisement". You know, those annoying browser pop-up windows.

In the demo it's okay because it acts as a reminder. But when I'm watching the trailer (advertisement for the game) and I see another advertisement for the game during gameplay when the eye shouldn't be distracted, then it seems strange. I can't really recall any game that had the game's title on screen.
I'll check iMovie to see options. I saw a scrolling option but it was vertical style scrolling. I agree the fade in/out is a bit unfitting.
Is there an option to move shapes/images? In Flash, my simplest solution was to move a dark rectangle to reveal text. If you can add images, then the next option might be to manually enter text in a text editor and create screenshots of that. Then add those screenshots to the movie. Or, since there aren't a lot of text, maybe I could create something in Flash.
Cloning: :14 and :30 show the clone mimic you. It sounds like you're saying this could be exaggerated, showing more? I thought it looked fine here but I don't want to miss out if it needs further polish.
Yes, I saw those and with the text that would probably work. But for some reason I would like to see a little longer of an enemy mirroring your shot pattern. Perhaps, because that's what helped me to get exactly how cloning works and might be more obvious then a few shots there and there.
I'll add "Quantum Pilot" out now on Steam and Itch - with both of those being hotlinks, then?
Should I also say <- Click ->? or "Links below" too?
Yes, it's a good idea to have a (markeding term) "call to action": i.e. what you'd like them to do. "Click" might be too general, but perhaps "Play Quantum Pilot Now" or "Check out Quantum Pilot" with arrows pointing to the links would work better> Also add those links in the game's description.
Oh, forgot. At the end of the trailer, it seemed like that there were a few cool looking upgrades/features. Perhaps, you could put some text before those as well.
