moths don't wrap their wings around themselves, this might be reason for it not looking as expected? sounds more like a dracula thing to do :D

I think that's better. Maybe I should change the body color as well but I don't really know. moths don't wrap their wings around themselves, this might be reason for it not looking as expected? sounds more like a dracula thing to do :D
Maybe this moth does? It's a mysterious dracula moth. I like it. I assume it will fly and reveal the body part in the next frames anyway? One minor suggestion: i'd put the feelers on the forehead. That way, you could use it for eye expression. (I also reduced the head size at the top.)

Currently working on her body and wings. She looks kind of superhero-y, maybe I'll fixate on that aspect for her personality. I just need to give her a weapon, maybe a magical orb that gives her powers. Or a staff. Also a cool design for her wings. Maybe I could incorporate the superhero theme into that and give her a logo, lol.

I like her. Which weapon do you have in mind? You could easily drop half of your animation frames, in my opinion. Of course it depends on your personal taste, if you like a very smooth or a more hectic animation style.

It could even be an interpolated fade to make it look extra smooth.

Of course it depends on your personal taste, if you like a very smooth or a more hectic animation style. Yeah, I noticed my animation was weirdly smooth. I might take a few frames off but 2 seems like too little. Maybe 4 or 3 would look good. And for the weapon I decided to go with an orb that gives her magic powers like shooting magic projectiles while she flies above you. It could even be an interpolated fade to make it look extra smooth.
Oooh that might look cool. i love the hypnotic effect of this one.
thanks!

Which one is better? Left I took out a few frames and right I took out a bunch. I'm actually thinking I'll go with the right one. Doesn't look so weirdly smooth. And fewer frames is always nice.

Adding some sound effects, I like them for the most part, might make the footstep sounds quieter, and I might put an extra explosion sound in there for some variation.
