ooo, how do you get one of those, I'd love to exchange labor for full access. It's really, really hard work (you will be exhausted basically every day) but it's totally worth it. I volunteered in 2005 and it was a great experience. They've probably filled all their slots by now, but you can always get on the list for next year if so, and it never hurts to register anyway - sometimes they have people cancel at the last minute and they need replacements (that's how I got in in '05). |

I tried volunteering last year but got the rejection email where they were like "We had a billion people apply and only chose 200" or something like that.

Agreed, IGS and IGF are awesome, everything else is boring and gay! The GDC Awards are *kinda* fun, if you get to sit at a fancy table anyways. Does summits & tuts pass really get you into the IGF tho?
