I read the entirety of Bone in one go, as I never discovered it until they were all completed. I've never had so much trouble putting a book down of any sort. <3

Bone is pretty damn good....I still haven't read the very last volume yet though  Sad

i keep a few comics by drawing table for immediate reference - the one that has a permanent spot is BONE (any of it's volumes). it's basically my teacher.

now that i have the art book i feel like i own the secret to the universe (of comics making).

makes me think - how come there aren't more 'making of' game design art books? this seems to be more popular in japan - metal gear solid, street fighter, and most recently okami all have lovely art books. i understand that you can download for free the bioshock artbook, thats a step in the right direction!

but mostly Dan Clowes.

Dude! I love Daniel Clowes....I especially loved Eightball and Ghost World:

great stuff....I used to live right down the street from Fantagraphics Books actually....thought about being an intern or something...

Man, it has been so long since I even thought about 'ol Mr. Clowes....I wonder what he is up to nowadays? I shall see....

I'm taking a trip up there just to meet him someday, and get some of that SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET Canadian air.  If you're into sketch books his subway, japan, and creature books are great.  Pretty much top notch stuff.  I need to get the rest of them soonish before they sell out.
