Good grief, this looks brilliant.

Love the look & feel of it, agree that there could be a little more dynamism in the movement, but aside from that, this looks like my dream game Smiley

Anything playable available yet/coming soon?

Thanks  Beer!

We're still very early on ( I keep saying that but it's been over a year!) and there is nothing publicly playable yet. We will be creating a taster level 'soon' which will be a rough alpha but playable so we can get feedback from as many people as possible. We're going to put in as much as possible so we get an idea of what works and doesn't.

I hope you'll be ready to help us out  Hand Thumbs Up Left

I'm so tired of seeing "voxel" based games.

But this looks great! I'm really impressed with the level of detail you're achieving - it's like quality pixel art but you know, with volume.

Can't wait to play it!

OK, this is a little silly but I was playing around with the vehicles, tweaking the physics and it all went a little A-Team so I recorded this short video  Tongue

or you can see it in HD on YouTube  Shocked :

The vehicles aren't going to be used like this, I'm just being a muppet over the easter break.

looks like fun to me. the only thing that looks off, is the turret staying fixed. what don't you like about it, too much air-time?

tbh if it were a tank racing game it would all be good (bar the turret) but in the actual game, trying to shoot the enemy and make progress it's completely uncontrollable, way too fast. It's just a bit of fun anyway.

Just a quick post on the latest vehicle, wanted to do something that would allow the player to see their character in the vehicle as well as have something that looks like it came from the same tech background as our player characters.

gonna mirror what everyone else is saying about voxels. Usually turns me off, but this is turning me on, way on.

so delicious!

I like how you've captured the appealing style of pixel art and translated that into voxel form - colors, proportions, movement, and style all looking sweet.

Did some updates to the aliens tank, though this will be drivable too at time during the game

While mucking about today I wanted to check/optimize the collision meshes a little and got some really nice other-worldy effects with the mesh and Depth of Field

Might be something we can use at some point although rendering lines is pretty expensive unfortunately.

Anyway, back to work.

One of our mini bosses animating, was originally meant to be static buts that's a little boring

very cool animation. the walking seems a little slippy, I think the forward motion might be too much?

@marcgfx Thanks for the feedback, I think you might be right, its a bit hard to tell after staring at it for hours while I was doing it, but having come back to it, it does look like I've pushed it forward to fast. Should be a easy fix.....

@myturtlesoreo  Cheers, they're my favorite part too

That animation is pretty mesmerizing. I really like the subtle details of the face. Has a lot of personality for a machine. Really awesome what you guys are doing with voxels...
