Here's my game project Kiwitiki. It's a platformer with mouse controls only. Simple to play but, I hope, rich in fun Smiley

Some WIP screenshots

(Really temporary Title screen)

The main map (WIP)

In game screen, but probably without vintage effect...

An heroe illustration, Kiwitiki

looks great. I want to see the main character in motion! will you be using flash? and kudos on having practically no HUD. I love games that dont clutter up the play area.

Oh my goodness my adorable meter just went into overdrive. Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss

This looks great.  I personally really dig the vintage coloring in game, i have not seen many games do this.

My friends and I had actually very recently discussed how awesome a game with a vintage paper look to it would be... mostly this was due to this thread on Something Awful.

I like the vintage too, but...

I also like the color green. Vibrant, luscious greens. The vintage map...it don't have none of those loverly greens, save in 3.5 trees.

I love the art style you're using magicfred, it's fantastic! Reminds me of a casual game, without the umm "made for grandmas" feel, if that's what you were going for

Although it's a flash game, I love how the use of textures take it beyond the typical "flash look" and more into the Nintendoey/commercial product realm, looks great. Love the graphics in some places Smiley  Hand Thumbs Up Right

Hmm, if you are going for a vintage look, make it colorful but with the white scratchy looking things. Don't sepia it out.

Exactly! I hate grandmas casual game feeling  Screamy
And I want to make a high quality Flash game. I use Flash because it's easy for me to create graphics with it. That'all Smiley

For the vintage style, I'm working on it!

Thank you everybody!
