This looks very impressive, guys! The animation and FX in this project is almost on par with Duelyst. Well done! My feedback follows (based on the trailer), I know it's probably too late for these, but anyway:

  • I would definitely lose some contrast in the backgrounds, as they clash with the action a lot of times. I would remove all outlines there, and make the bg's more in a painterly style (only shapes, no thin lines).
  • Outlines are a bit of an issue for me in the foreground as well. I feel they are a bit too strong visually and lots of units induce quite a bit of visual noise this way. Perhaps selective outlining (selout) would be the solution for this, but I know you won't redraw all the animations, so maybe for the next project. Smiley
  • My last issue is the mobile market. Traditional pixel art has a tendency of not doing very well there (more casual audience, retina displays, etc.). Do you have any plans for releasing on PC/Steam? I think there might be a better audience for your game there...

Thanks for your feedbacks. Monsters X Monsters is now almost ready to release. But All of them are very helpful. We can improve the quality of the next project. Our artists will try to do teamwork better.

We havent had any plan for releasing this project on Steam yet. But surely next project will (Roguelike game). Our side team is working on it(~15%).

And we have found the mobile publisher. Now we just focus on making the game as good as possible  Smiley hope everything will go well
