K'. 1st Avengers budget - $220M. Box office - $1.520M Revenue/budget ratio = 6.9 MGSV Budget - $80M. Revenue - $420M (if 7M copies were sold, which I doubt). Revenue/budget ratio = 5.25 I'm not denying that MGSV could make more profit in first couple of days (simply because the game is 10 times more expensive than movie ticket), but it's like comparing Tesla model 3 vs Lamborghini Avendator. Yep, Tesla will be faster during first 1-2 seconds because of electric engine, but that's it.

The comparison wasn't to prove that mgs5 did better than avenger, it was an easy source to find to prove than mgs 5 was profitable without going in the dark belly of report and math. You are arguing against the void ... Point is it was profitable the first days, point proven.

You're truly a child ------------ And I'm telling you once again, that it covered its expenses half-year after its release, because you were talking about raw revenue. But I guess there's no point in continuing that.

But I guess there's no point in continuing that. You are right there is no point continuing that, but I went in the dark belly of report, so I'm posting that. In the Pachislot & Pachinko Machines business, we intend to release new pachislot machines, SEVEN’S BEAT, in collaboration with beatmania, a music genre game from the Konami Group, and METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER, which was derived from the ultra large-scale video game title METAL GEAR series (surpassed 49.2 million copies sold worldwide as of end of March 2016). This is the first model loaded on the next-generation cabinet BIGBOSS, featuring the industry’s first full-HD surface 32-inch LCD, and equipped with a 124 GB large-capacity ROM for the LCD. http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2016-05-10-metal-gear-and-mobile-games-give-konami-a-boostAt the end of March of 2015 sales were at 41.2 million, meaning an increase of 8 million since then. This certainly encompass both mgs5 proper and ground zero.

Didn't konami invest a lot of ca$h dollers into casino gambling in hopes that it would be legalized in japan and lost all of it when the requisite bill failed to pass?
