It looks pretty, but it doesn't really highlight what is a selectable level and what is background. Will there be filters or outlines to aid with that in the game?

The levels are the green frames and they appear as you progress through the game (1 and 2 in the previous image). Also the current level is scaling to point where you must go. Here is an example of how it looks on level 12:

This week was full work on the AI, which was lacking a bit, to say the least. It is a simple state machine that changes based on the distance to the character (far? jump, close? punch/kick) and its own physical state (falling? stucked? idling? close to edge?). Several silly situations came out of it: The AI trying hard to punch, only to fall to their death. Finally! It manages to punch me. It's not really hard to terminate the threat. Sometimes it even terminates itself... is the most convoluted way. When your fighting your bro, and a brofist is mandatory. The AI is not prepared to fight flying robots. Ok, that was a decent punch. So it does not get too cocky. If you are interested in Posable Heroes, you can wishlist it on steam.

You like showing gifs of the player being hit in the groin, don't you?

It's been a week of testing and fixing bugs. The current build already has 19 levels in a very finished state, and testers are already creating amazing things... like this fight over here by tester Frequency. If you are interested in Posable Heroes, you can wishlist it on steam.

Did he... did he just teabag him?! I'm pretty sure that's exactly what he did. Goliat didnt deserved it. He tried his best.

More testers shenanigans were submitted. Starting with a Neo like maneuvers: Some player was fond of the ball&roll style: I recently added the option of grabbing the enemy, so players started having fun with that: Kicking them while they are down... And even... *gasp*... dabbing:

Looks fun! Kind of like Toribashi but with actual campaign mode and better visuals. Did he... did he just teabag him?! I'm pretty sure that's exactly what he did. Goliat didnt deserved it. He tried his best. That gave me an idea: Achievement: Tea Party Description: Teabag ten enemies.

^ This should be in your next trailer, in such a way that it's clear that it's player skill.

I mean, at the end of the day it's the gameplay that sells a game, right. And these clips convey the main concept and the draw of the game really well.

24.oct.2018Tomorrow, october 25th, the game launches on Early Access on Steam. It's been some crazy years, and this is one of the final steps for this project to come to completion. The campaign mode is finished, with a story of 25 levels. What comes up next is finishing the level editor to make it usable for beginners. If you are interested in Posable Heroes, you can wishlist it on steam.
