My name is Highsight, and I run a weekly liveshow on Twitch called Indie Insights. Every Tuesday at 8PM EST, I sample 3 games that are in development, stream them live on Twitch with a bunch of other people that love game development, and we all discuss our thoughts on the game afterwords. , which can then be used as reverence and/or promotional material for your game. A little background on me. I'm a 24 year old professional programmer with a minor in game design. While I do not currently program video games, I've studied them and game design since I was very young, it's what got me into programming. Thanks to this, I have a unique prospective into games that most gamers don't have, since I literally know how games work from the inside and out. This allows me to give feedback on game mechanics, find tricky bugs and most importantly, have fun with games. This program has gotten tons of support from the indie dev community, I usually get anywhere between 8-10 game developers who come in on a given night, as well as another 15-30 gamers who come in regularly to see the hot new thing in development. Hey,
just wanted to recommend the show for devs in need of playtesting!
Getting the mighty Highsight plus a bunch of devs/gamers to comment on your game in a live stream gets you a whole lot of good feedback. Even better if you can also attend the Twitch stream to chat with Highsight and viewers.
It can also help figure out things which don't show up on written feedback because a new player's and the dev's way of playing a game can be very different (there is also the stream viewer's point of view which is different too).

I'm proud to announce that we are breaking tradition for week #15! This week I will be hosting a very special 3 day long Ludum Dare spotlight event! I have a series of Ludum Dare 32 games submitted to me, and I will be playing them over a period of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! I'm really excited about this, and it is going to be a huge endeavor. If you are interested in getting your LD32 game added to the list, there's still room for a few more submissions! This week's games are looking good! First up we have Greed, a Twin-Stick style Roguelite in the vein of Binding of Isaac meets Spelunky. Guide a dwarf down randomly generated terrain, get rich or die tryin. After that we're checking out Rebound, a 2D Platformer about a bouncy robot looking to save the world! He's got balls of rubber. Lastly we're checking out Animal Drop, an infinite faller along the lines of Falldown meets Line Rider. Come on by and give these devs some feedback, and we'll these games better together! Hello everyone! This week's episode is a BIG one! I am now streaming the show on my personal channel, which means I've gone through some significant rebranding! We've got a game from http://reddit.com/r/gamedev, an indie game being published by Adult Swim Games, and a game right here from TIGSource. I'd just like to put in a good word for this show. To quote him, "I don't come out and say your game is a piece of shit." He plays the game to all his ability, has a feedback bot, and lets developers advertise their games during the intermission in-between games. Plus, sometimes the devs of the games he's reviewing are in the stream chat, so that's nice. I highly recommend watching this.
