You could add a 'true' game mode which unlocks only one level a day. Smiley

Went into solitude there for about two weeks, fishing and camping away from computers and such. It was a nice break. Awesome to come back and see a bunch more comments. Thanks for the support and love. Currently working on how the warps will look between levels. Concepting some rainbow black hole looking things right now.  Toast Right 

@Eniimal Thanks Yo! Glad you want to play it!

@zorg @JctWood That is a pretty tight idea... only allowing you to play one a day... I would definitely need some programming know how to make that happen, but it is something I will consider as an initial option.

@bornander Thanks! Can't wait to release it!

@omgnoseat You are an evil person. Maybe I will make a special version just for you.

@SirNiko I am working with an awesome musician that I will reveal a bit later with the first official trailer for the game.

@SnakeCoiler Music is going to be moody and atmospheric, but not going to get 100 unique songs, as much as I would love that. Not being a musician myself, not sure how long it takes to "write tracks" but pretty sure it takes a long time. It would take a very large investment from a musician to do a track a level. I have thought about curating a list of songs that influenced me while creating this game. Might do that. Check out this song by Big Black Delta, definitely influenced a few levels:

@Ishi It was tough in a way, a lot of free time dedicated. It became habit after a while though which made it easier.

I just ripped through this entire thread and it was a visual feast!  I find it amazing to see how these levels evolved over time and became more and more interesting by the day.  Brilliant work.

Hey, I was figuring this must've reached 100 at this point! Congrats. Looks great.

Now I'm really curious as to what the final game will be and what you'll end up doing with your finished levels and the fluff between them!

@Prinsessa : D Fluff in between them is very minimal. Right now I have working portals between levels.

Forgotten Passages will be making its first public appearance at Orlando iX this weekend. This is my first time showing any game on a show room floor, should be pretty awesome.

Went to OrlandoiX and got to play this today.

It looks great in motion and it moves at slow, deliberate pace which is great for taking in the scenery. The levels varied quite a bit - some were small and short but densely packed with effects, some were open and made you search for the exit, and some were just long, decorative corridors. I saw maybe a dozen levels at the event and was pleased with the variety.

I'm even more stoked for this coming out so I can see the rest of it!

 It has been a great experience, tons of people love the game, I have gotten good feedback, and I have learned a few tweaks I can apply to the game to make it a bit more user friendly ( mainly the control scheme )
