These transformation animations are awesome. Any chance of having magic attacks as well? Like when not transforming into one of the warriors?

Hey Dewfreak83 thanks for the good word! To answer your question: yes and no haha. Yes there will be one or two character that does magic attack and some characters will have the ability to do range attack (balance and variety, etc.). But no the main character before transformation is purposely made vulnerable and does not really possess any attacking ability.

Thanks for the good word wonman321!! I totally agree with you, I got carried away with it and right now the background is shifting the player's focus away from the character, good tip!

This transform animation... I want to see the finished one because it looks awesome right now.
I agree with wonman321, background should be darker.

Thanks Harsay! Different animations for different characters reflects their unique attributes and they are a lot of fun to animate. I am glad you like it!

And yes haha... I did get carried away while drawing the forest and will make it darker lol

How much experience did you have with pixel art before you started? I'm surprised that you're able to do both the art and programming.

Now you can defend attack from the front, and also get damage if enemy hits you from your back.

Nice! I feel like the parry animation needs to have a bit more weight or movement to it though. It feels a bit small/short right now.

Thanks for the advise pixel noise! I've been getting that a lot recently haha, I will add in a few more frames to make it more weighty lol
