Well I'm a third year student taking computer engineering and computer sciences simultaneously. I know Java very well, and C++ a little bit. I experiment with everything else, and XNA seems kind of fine, but it requires too many frameworks. Java is the most comfortable thing for me, but I think I have to learn OpenGL and/or DX. And in spite of all this, I'm terrible at working with third party libs. What about J# ? is it good? Can it make something else than JAR's? Does it require frameworks? Does it auto-support DX? and finally, what should I do to get better in game programming? Assume that I'm fairly good at other facets of programming.

EDIT: I tried J#. If it lives up to its premises, it will be awesome. This is the PL for me!
