I added a new item to the game today  Smiley

It's called the Hunter's Soul which greatly increases the player's speed but is only for the Ranger class

Today, another new item gets added to the game

Ent's Branch - Dropped by the Ent Soul grassland boss - Can be used by all classes - Fires leaf projectiles occasionally (every 3 seconds)

A new Volcano-based enemy gets added to the game today

Magma Snail - Crawls back and forth randomly, creating a fire trail behind it

Today, I created a new cool weapon for the Warrior class

The Enchanted Sword - Fires two enchanted swords every time you swing your sword

Two new enemies are added to the game today: the Fire Bat, and the Lava Slime


The Fire Bat slowly circles the player and then charges down to attack



The Lava Slime jumps around randomly and after each jump, 
tosses 3 miniature meteorite balls into the sky with random trajectories

Here's the item I've been working on today:

The Viking Helmet which does about 30-40% more damage after the player gets hit by an enemy

Today, I decided to change the final Ranger skill
because it wasn't useful at all and looked horrible.

So the new skill is a giant arrow blast that does 5 TIMES the base player damage
which is very effective against bosses.

So I'll probably work on the Dragon boss tomorrow
which is the game's end-game boss.

Seems pretty intimidating Smiley

But I'll most likely work on it more tomorrow because I'm not happy with the current scales on the dragon's body.

The AI for the Dragon is done!

It spits out fireballs and lunges at the player at a very fast speed.

I'm using Stencyl currently to "prototype" this game and get feedback. If the response is good, I will improve this game in Unity 2D.

Today, I worked on a new item for the Mage class.


It's called the Cloak of Hades and it fires 2 soul-like projectiles after each shot

Today, a new Mage item gets added to the game.

It's dropped by the Frozen Serpent boss and

acts as a turret that shoots out ice crystals.

Another new item gets added today since

everything else is pretty much complete.

The Laser Bowstring turns a normal Ranger arrow

into a powerful beam that does twice the player damage.

A lot of bug fixes and balancing was done today along with

a new item called the Storm in a Bottle.

It's only for the Mage class and calls down 3 thunder strikes instead of 1.

Haven't posted in a while...

Fixing bugs and finishing up the game.

Anyways, during the week, I added Sacrificial Altars to the game

which give you more XP if you kill an enemy on it.
