don't see cathedrals very often

Because religious references in games are usually considered a no-no (you're unlikely to get on console that way, I'm not sure if you can get away with them on mobile either... so that pretty much limits it to PC).

Waat? The Souls series are filled with cathedrals, Dark Souls 3 has like 8 of them. Also most of the Assassin's Creeds are filled with real life cathedrals (including the Sistine Chapel in Brotherhood, sadly before Michelangelo painted it)
Heck, you fistfight the Pope at the end of Brotherhood, portraying religion has never been a real issue in games.

Also on the bazaars even Battlefield 3 had a level on a bazaar, but it was lame...
