Actually, the movement speed is part of the game mechanics... I don't know if you missed it but there are parts of the video where Ivarr is actually Running! Wink The whole level ideas revolve around this slow/fast alternance! It's hard to really feel it without a controller (or keyboard) in hand! When you play it, it does not feel that weird! I guarantee it!

Update 8: The Butcher Goblin!


A new Goblin to enforce the enemy lines! Every game made by Diablo fans must have a Butcher! This is our interpretation of it! Wink

I never played diablo, but wouldn't a butcher wield a knife? great character, does he slam you with the meat?

while watching the video I got a better feel for the game, what kind of disturbed me, was that hits dont have much of an impact. I would expect hard hits to force the target backwards. but they seem to simply stay in position, making the hits look a lot less effective.

Actually, since the game is based on humor, no.. the butcher does not carry a knife! And yes, the meat is his weapon!
As we said in the video description, the game is still in early development and nothing there is final... We are fully aware of this strength issue and I guarantee we're working on it. There's an A.I. development update I wrote a while ago that talks a little about it. The enemy's reaction to the player attacks are not yet implemented... but it will be soon!

Even though we've been busy with our crowdfunding campaign, we're still working on the game!

These are some new traps we've implemented! They give us tons of level design an puzzle possibilities!



We've worked hard on the Quest and dialogue systems as well...soon I'll post an update about that!

We're Back!  Well, hello there! Toast Right Toast Left Well, hello there!

It's been a long time since we last posted an update here... I'm sorry about that... But now we intend to update the devlog on a weekly basis so, expect to see us here more often! The game has changed a lot in the last few months and soon I'll update the first post so you guys can have a look at the new stuff and get familiar with the new concepts and mechanics.
