Shoot, reflect, and jetpack your way around ChargeShot, a local-multiplayer space bounty hunter death match game with a focus on fast-paced, reaction-based interface. Prove to your friends that you are the greatest warrior in the galaxy. Coming (soon) to a theatrebox near you.





Annually, from across dozens of sectors, men, girblons, women, and children tune in to their local galactic networks stations to view the most anticipated event of the year: “ChargeShot”. Bounty hunters from across the known universe compete for glory and the handsome reward of 2,000,001 credits. In ChargeShot, each player is armed with a Pulsar Cannon whose blasts bounce off walls and instantly kill whatever they touch, an Energy Shield which can reflect Pulsar blasts, and a standard issue jetpack for traversing the battleground. In high speed combat, players test their reflexes against up to 3 other frienhttp://i.imgur.com/IhFZtfd.pngds (or enemies, as the case may be by the end of the night.)

-----------------Player Mechanics-------------------

Shooting

The classic way of communicating our feelings. In ChargeShot, you shoot one giant bullet at a time. After, you have a brief cool down period in which you must wait (1.5s) for your weapon to auto recharge. It only take one of these beefy bullets to destroy an opponent.

Redirecting Bullets With Your Thruster

Your jetpack is more than a device for traversing the battlefield; you can also push bullets downward with them. This Gif says it all.

Shield Blocking

Bullets can be reflected and returned to their sender. In some situations when a bullet is arching you can totes get a high-stakes volleyball match going. One miscalculated block and you're toast, ChargeShot is just as much about blocking as it is shooting.

Shield Bumping

Shields aren't just for blocking bullets, but also manipulating the opponents on the battlefield. Send them flying into a bullet or environmental hazards with a strategically timed shield bump. We recommend playing "Shield Bumps Only" on the Lava Level (420 blazeit) for some extra fun and a few laughs.

Cowboy color has recently begun full-time development of ChargeShot! Over the past few weeks, 8 new levels have been completed, bringing the total to 12. Each level introduces a new and exciting gameplay dynamic, including swinging torch hazards, destructible environments, speeding asteroids, and tight corridors that restrict movement.

Also recently introduced: AI Bots! No longer will you have to pay people on craigslist to come over and play with you!

Currently in development: Single-Player Campaign! Face off against a computer to test you skills as the baddest Bounty Hunter in the Galaxy, and be the champion of the ChargeShot Tournament.

Something about butts.

Thanks everybody!

Here is the line up of our original characters for our game.


Besides those we are working on some secret unlockable crossover characters. Confirmed so far:
"Duck game" duck , "Nidhogg" guy, Turing form "Read Only Memories", and a bullet guy from "Enter The Gungeon"

We also have a level with a crowd we can fit lots of cameos in!

Music:


All of our music is made into loops which are triggered during the game depending on variables of intensity. Each level has it's own theme and the idea is to create mood,atmosphere, and attitude to match the level.
