Hi there! My name is Rin and I am here to begin (with an incredibly late start) a comprehensive Devlog for Zombie Company Crusade iOS mobile game. This Devlog is getting started VERY late... but better late than never! As of now Zombie Company Crusade (or as we like to acronym ZCC) is in beta test phase in Canada as well as beta testing with a handful of the games supporters and I must say people seem to be liking what we are putting down. We know what your thinking, and yes Zombie Company Crusade is a base builder... but believe me when I say it is SO much more than that. ZCC provides several features that make it considerably more challenging, more strategic, and in our opinion more fun To name/show a few of these features: - TROOP CONTROLS! -no more watching your troop mindlessly shoot at a wall when there is real battling to be done! With troops control you are able to control your troops individually or as a whole! -You can also MANIPULATE ENGINEERS (aka builders) -Don't want to wait hours for a building to get finished? Then don't! Each engineer you add to your project will decrease build time by 20% - ARENA MODE- Fight your friends or foes one on one in the arena and see who will have the best strategy and reap the rewards! - ZOMBIE SURVIVAL MODE- How many waves of zombie horde can your base withhold? These are just a few of the many features Zombie Company Crusade provides to make it a base builder that will engage gamers. Zombie Company Crusade also has: -A detailed CAMPAIGN MODE- Save the world one country at a time from the zombie scourge. At this time we are planning a Zombie Company Crusade hard launch for iOS devices this Summer (most likely July 2015) and will soon after begin beta testing for Android! First off, I forgot to mention in the last post that the company I work for (that is developing Zombie Company Crusade) is Recon Jack Media. ( www.reconjackmedia.com) Now that y'all are well introduced to our game let's take a look at what we are working on with this new beta update we will be coming out with this next week! As you all know we have a pretty great list of player modes, which should increase available play time for the gamer! We are aiming at reducing those pesky wait times while making the game fun as well as challenging! In ZCC you will be collecting resources to build up your base camp and troops, but this is not the only way to obtain resources (Gold, Grain, Oil). You can also get resources by saving countries from zombies in Campaign Mode, successfully defend against zombie hordes, win in the Arena, and raid other players bases in Multiplayer Mode. With this next update we plan on: -Including the Zombie Reward Drop (survival bonus: more grain gold & goods!) -Arena Mode corrections -Replays available -Obstacles (i.e. rocks and trees) -New Heros While playing Zombie Company Crusade you will have the ability to unlock hardened Heros which will help defend your base during raids or zombie attacks! For instance, the first hero you unlock (in this case save) is Lt. Rin. (FYI: Graphics look much better in game than they appear in Gif) Additionally, our new Arena Mode will provide a better challenge, bigger loot, and awesome one-on-one battling with your friends and foes in this capture-the-flag style competition. Hope everyone is doing well today! Last week we came out with a new build update for Zombie Company Crusade and beta testers seem to be pretty happy with it We still have to finish the Campaign Mode levels and are in the process of implementing the new Arena Mode field. We added obstacles in this recent update (i.e. bushes, trees, and rocks) but as of now we are still working on texturizing them. Want to re-watch a victorious raid? We added the replay feature for attacks and defense; from zombies or enemy raids. Additionally (note at the right top hand corner of the replay) you can speed up the replay or slow it down to your liking! (Graphics appear much better in game than in Gif) Check out our most recent trailer:

With this weeks new beta update we have the new field for Arena Mode up and running! Still planning on making a few more adjustments so 1v1 battling is smoother. Here is a quick little gif that demonstrates a building upgrade. Got to upgrade those farms to make more grain to feed your army!

As of now we are working on getting a new beta update out ASAP. Working on fixing a few bugs we have found in the new Arena Mode. We have also tidied up the numbers which display losses/wins for raids and zombie attacks. We have started to reveal our troop concept art via weekly polls on Twitter! Hello fellow Gamedevs and Gamers We are currently working on a new update that will fix bugs in the Arena Mode and we are coming around to finishing the Campaign Mode levels. We hope everyone had a great Fathers Day weekend This Fathers Day weekend we sent out a new beta update! In this weeks update we: -Dramatically reduced the file size of the game to allow better game play. -Included a zombie reward drop feature. -Display how many zombies attacked your base. -What kind of zombies attacked your base.Here you can (kind of...) see that at the end of a zombie raid it lists the kind of zombies and how many there were of each! (Sorry for the bad graphics due to Gif making.. they are much better in the actual game!) Once the zombie attack is finished you are now given a reward drop depending on how well your base was able to defend itself. Also to increase players ability to gain more goodies to build their base camp you can achieve objectives and collect on them! We are planning on having a new beta update out this next week that will introduce some of our favorite heroes

We are working on finalizing several new buildings/ troops before hard launch this summer! We posted a teaser image a few weeks ago (via Facebook & Twitter) for the introduction of a new building and here it is! Lt. Rin's Roost is where your hero will be able to get her beauty rest... or clean her guns and sharpen her deadly weapons Stay tuned for a NEW soon to be revealed Hero

Thanks for commenting, Fluke. I am definitely trying to get the game out there while also showing the progression of development. I started this DevLog very late in the game and therefore have only posted our development from 90%-on. Already having most of the features developed in the game may make this seem like it's marketing, but in fact, I am simply trying to get some sort of DevLog (however late in development it may be) out there. Whoop Whoop! New Hero Concept Art! Gain the offensive and defensive advantage by unlocking your heroes! We also sent out a new beta update this week. A few key notes in this new beta update: -Implementation of icons for assets info screens. -Added all campaign maps with dummy buildings on the Campaign world map. -Overall improvisations in most aspects of the game. New Training Icons:New MultiPlayer Mode and Arena Mode Icons:More Campaign Mode Levels:(i.e. Dummy icons in place of where the level is for now, we will be placing icons of geographic significance on each level.) The grey area of the map are locked sections which will be coming soon with future game updates. And just in case you were wondering what this thing is... Just look at the INFO. Info: It's a tree. (by clearing these obstacles from your base camp you can receive resources and allow more room on your base camp to build!)

We are so close to being finished with the game but still seems like we have some cleaning up to do. None-the-less we did come out with a new beta update yesterday! This update includes: -Implemented Lt. Rin hero. -Implemented Jack Mason hero. -Updated the Arena base in the tutorial.When unlocking your heroes they come with their own Headquarters.As of now we only have the hero headquarters up to level 4, but they will be able to be upgraded to level 10. Here are your heroes (Jack Mason, General Stavros, and Lt. Rin) in action. The only hero missing here is your dog, Scout. (Still working on the feature that unlocks him/her) We have been working hard on getting a better Arena Mode that will test your strategy in 1v.1 battling against your friend... or foes.Now the new arena field is in our tutorial! Another cool feature that we haven't really shown yet is your ability to use Platoon Drops when going into battle.You can have up to 4 Platoons. Using this Platoon Drop feature you can drop a mass amount of troops at once! A few pending features that we are currently working on: -Finalizing optimization of the game for lower end devices. Doing some fine tuning. -Tutorial module. -Updating the Campaign Map graphics. -Adding ribbons to achievements. We are trying to get a final release build by the mid July! Keeping our fingers crossed!

Very happy to let y'all know that Zombie Company Crusade has been released in Australia and Canada! After this soft launch ZCC will be hard launched worldwide! Also, Don't let the "Ready For Sale" label fool you! Zombie Company Crusade is FREE to download and play! A few things we have found and are currently working on: -The numbers for attack/ zombie defenses are a little off on the achievements star count. (i.e. After battle its says you have gotten 2 stars and in attack/defense log it says that you only gained 1) -Fine tuning the numbers so battles are even. -Placing correct representative icons on corresponding Campaign Map levels. -Adding more Campaign Map levels. -Adjusting appearance of Campaign Map. ... So pretty much just fixing a lot of Campaign Mode stuff! Additionally we are going to start putting together some Meet Your Troops videos so that y'all can see te benefit of using certain troops!
