Actually, I upgraded the girth when I first started, to 1.20. I understand the logic with the range, but I suppose I like the risk of making my weak-point larger or something?

Well the girth thing will affect handling I think. Or speed. Haven't decided yet.

Well now I have enemy hardons, multiple levels, and some more tweaks. I also made the controls a bit better.

The combat now works like this:

Each hardon tries to hit the other one in the balls with its tip. Length makes you more capable of hitting the enemy, but makes the level more difficult to navigate. Manhood increases speed and handling but makes you more vulnerable. So you have to balance those two stats.

Now I'll try to implement different enemies and MAYBE some items you can purchase to improve your "performance". I think I'll keep it topdown 2d, and if I finish this I'll also make a proper cockpit game.

I'll post another demo when I have more stuff to show.

I must say I love mirror stage, and to hear that its creator at least finds this amusing makes me happy!

It's undocumented, but increasing manpower improves the movement of the hardon. That's the point to it.

manpower didn't seem to improve the movement.  i ended up increasing length most of the time. 

finished it though.

you're introducing split-screen at some point, right?

I'm not sure whether I should have split screen or LAN style.

Manpower increases top speed, but you need to increase it a bit for it to make a difference.

For example, I can only beat the level with the really big enemy by cranking manpower all the way so I can get behind it fast enough.

I'll try to increase its effectiveness though.

Any comments on anything else?

blue (penultimate?) level was hard to get out of the opening area of.

most of the levels are too claustrophobic for increased top-speed to be too useful, I think.

Yeah on that level I was experimenting with how I can use the level against the player, for example if I don't want the player to have a too long hardon I'd use some architecture like that.

Also, since that level introduced a new enemy, I wanted to have some anticipation before the player gets to it. What the hell is that thing? I wanted the player to think about that and not just rush into head-on collision with it.

You're right though, I'll work more on the level design.



For multiplayer, I'm thinking of having Deathmatch and Capture the Vag (just came to me and it sounds so horrible :D) Nah, that's too vulgar. Deathmatch and maybe some other mode.

By the way, I think I'm also going to add powerups. Please give me powerup ideas. And also ideas for more multiplayer modes.

By the way, there was a single player bug in the multiplayer demo I posted. Here's a link with the fix:

Yeah I'm gonna add a training level but it's not my top priority per se.

Right now I'm more interested in capture the vag, powerups and new enemies and maybe a new multiplayer mode if I can come up with something good.

Yeah! I just had an idea, and mixing with yours I got an even better one! Read on.

So, capture the vag is like this:

There's this vag that roams around. You gotta capture it and take it to first base. Then second base. Then third and fourth base. The bases each have flagpoles that are raised when a player reaches them. The first to reach fourth base wins. But you can kill the other player, which makes the vag despawn, and then you have to go get it again while the other player waits to respawn.
