Gameplay looks sweet. But the sprite artwork does not blend well with 3D environment to me. Or perhaps I don't like the textures. Or polygons. Still, I'm not sure if that's final artwork so I'll just shut up now. Other than that it's sweet.

So you don't like any of the artwork or something? I'm confused.

have you sexed up the mr stretch stretch effect at all?
for me it was the weakest graphical element in the early videos (though i can imagine warming to him)
(i don't think i mentioned this before, but apologise if i'm repeating myself)

Looks good dude. I'll have to make an iPhone owner buy it so I can try it out I wouldn't mind having a title that describes the game better, but I haven't been able to come up with one yet. iHeroez? <--- NEVER. I think you should play up the management / superhero collision some more, especially in the name. The player should feel empowered by this hero leadership opportunity. Unfortunately most corporate-speak is quite cumbersome, so it's difficult to come up with something snappy. My favourite so far is "Synergy Squad".

So you don't like any of the artwork or something? I'm confused. No, the sprite artwork is very nice, but it does not blend well for me with 3D environment. Either because of 3D textures or rigid 3D. Not really an issue, I was just comparing it to Aquaria.

A new week, a new blog update. We've got some sweet buildings from Adam: Also, two different versions of a new music track. Get deliriously excited right over here. I will settle for mildly interested.

What happens when you finish a level?
I was just watching the gameplay video (which is obviously old news by now) and when they got to the rescue zone it just faded out. I think it'd be more fun to have a rescue helicopter swoop in, let down a rope ladder and say "THANK YOU!" in an over-the-radio voice.
Also if you don't want to name it Heroes and Villains, you could give the city a super name and call it that; like Hero City or Megatropolis. Then it'd sound less like a beat-em-up and the level select interface would fit better.
Oh and I've bin following the blog since like day 1.
