I saw this on facebook and twitter and am just amazed.

I always wonder how you structure the technical side of tutorials like this. Is there some kind of lua magic going on? You seem to be able to jump in between any phase of combat and inject new dialog and interaction.

Wowowow this looks spectacular! I expected another derivative EB-like when I started watching the video, but this battle system looks incredibly original!

That battle system trailer does such a great job of showing off an integral part of the game! I really enjoyed it and it definitely made me want to play this Smiley.

I suppose for more "final" release trailer type stuff you could get the basic "what's cool and unique here" across in far less time, but I appreciate the character-based angle you've done with these. It gets the style of your game across in a way I like a lot, and I hope it's working for you!

Loved it. Even though it reminded me of those games, it still has a lot of personality. Great work  Beer!

Thankyou. I find Earthbound a little slow, but it's got style so that counts! Warioware will always be my jam, though. Heh.

Thanks, and yeah, I wouldn't think of this as a trailer... it's a little too long. Think of it as a demonstration, or an in-depth preview. The characters are a really important part of the game, so I'm glad people are digging how these videos are presented.

Combat it looking swanky.
There's so much attention to movement it's fun to watch,
Which is hard to accomplish with a turn based RPG.

Side note:
