The height display could be clearer though, maybe add some kinda virtual horizon?

It's not canceled. I've been taking a break from it because I got a little overwhelmed (it's the first time I've ever really done 3d stuff). Don't worry though. I will have something playable by the end of the week  Cool

Heh... I haven't played Tragedius yet, but it does look a lot like what I'm going for. Kind of a first-person space-harrier. I'm downloadting your game right now. Maybe I can steal your ideas get some inspiration from it.
