We've been pretty busy putting a hard polish on our public demo (among other things) that we're going to release soon. Just wanted to show off a new "bus" we've been messing around with. This old timer is the original bus. This is a rough version of the covered wagon, I'll be making some changes to it soon.

Here is a big and long-needed update for OmniBus! Of course the big thing is that we launched a Kickstarter. You can go here if you’re interested in helping us out! In other news, we presented our game at Chicago’s Bit Bash, and it was a ton of fun! We had our booth in a half pipe and people had to lie down to play – it was a weird space but everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was a lot of work to do the set up in such a spot but after a lot of work we made it work and attracted crowds throughout the show. A new feature in the build we made was the Gravity Bus, which has a special power. When the player presses A in mid-air, the bus accelerates downward. The downwards acceleration is relative to the bus, which means you can tilt in midair to do a complex maneuver. You get one second of “gravity” charge and you can only recharge it if you land back on your wheels and drive for 3 seconds. You quickly lose charge if you tumble around, so if you land upside down you can’t just easily flip back over.

That setup at Bit Bash was really creative! Good job. If only the screen was tilted... How was the sound? I hope it was loud and the roars resonated on the wood.

The acoustics weren't super good in there, we had to turn it down to talk to people playing the game, and by nightfall every game's sound in the area was washed out by the DJ.

A whole ton of new stuff has happened since our last update! We launched a kickstarter asking for 5,000 and we ended with 8,000. Now we’re going into hardcore development mode, since we’ve promised to launch OmniBus by February 2016. We also hit two of our 3 stretch goals, so we’re going to up the total number of buses in the game as well as have options for hats and some other cool customization options. Not long after launching our kickstarter, OmniBus was accepted into the Boston Festival of Indie games! Boston was a hoot and we got a ton of great feedback and suggestions, even got to meet a few of our kickstarter backers! Here are some pictures: Development has been going strong since we got back from Boston. We’ve done a polish pass on a lot of the city levels so they’re looking a lot more cleaned up than they were in the demo. We’ve also started working on World 3: The Moon! The Moon levels are going to mainly feature the new Gravity Bus. However we’re going to have levels on the moon where you play as the older buses as well. Here are a few of the new levels. Avoiding the new space beepers while also trying not to get pushed into a black hole in the middle of the map:Helping the Moon Colony plant and harvest their favorite food:Last but not least, gaining enough speed then flying to the moon! We still have a ton more work to do and will be updating soon! Also if you want a taste we put a free demo on Itch.io. You can find it HERE.

Howdy! We haven't updated in forever cause we’ve been working non-stop on OmniBus! Development is going great! We’ve just polished off the Moon world and are starting to wrap up world 4: “The Old West” World 4 is mainly going to feature our two newest buses, the Barrel Bus and the Cow Bus. Here are a few teaser gifs! (WIP) Overworld Map The Exceptional Train Robbery!Saloon RunThe Cavern Tilt BridgeWe’ve also got some radical news! OmniBus will be at Pax South in January! So if you’re going to be there, please stop over and give us a visit!

Whooweeee! Its been a while, but we're ready for launch! OmniBus is going to be our first shipped title. When we first started OmniBus as a small project we never could have predicted it'd be as well received as it was. We've learned a ton over the course of production and met a lot of amazing people. I know we didn't update our tig as often as others, but it was on tig that our game was found and written about by PC gamer. So we owe this site a lot We're on steam with a pre-order of a whole 10% off: http://store.steampowered.com/app/415740/Same for GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/omnibusThanks for everything Tig! Stoked to make a new dev log with whatever our next project is going to be! Catch you guys in the future!
