Name: Vine Street Massacre a game by David Williamson

No. of players: 2-4

Requirements: 2-4 controllers

How to play: Drag the other players into hazards to score points.

Credits: Music by Aaron P. Everything else by David Williamson

Available for: Windows, Mac, Linux

Screenshots:

I wanted to make something a bit physics-y and frantic. There's only a couple of days work in there total so don't worry about being too harsh with your feedback. Yeah, thoughts? Thanks.

Oh dear. I'm building from my Mac using Unity, but it usually works. I've re-built it and re-uploaded. Hopefully it'll work now.

Yeah it's running now. Just gonna jot points as I think of them..

* I opened in full screen but it's stretched because it's not made in a widescreen format. Might be nicer in a widescreen format if you're going for a PC standalone build.
* No quit button (that I see). Have to alt + f4
* Really like the main menu. Colourful and alive!
* The edges of the words 'vine' and 'williamson' are clipped off the edge of the screen (now that I'm playing in Window mode).
* I really like the mechanic's idea and the elasticity. I feel like a wonky Spiderman.
* I don't like the shoulder button controls. I think it should be triggers.
* I couldn't tell if I had a goal so I was just arsing around..
* I've no other controllers or housemates so I couldn't test for more than 1P.
* I dislike the 'unstick' function after a few seconds. I'm sometimes just getting a feel for where I want to go next, then I fall. But if you're going for hard-wonky controls then I can't fault you there. Would just prefer not to lose grip.
* It's very hard not to die. Tongue
* For the speed you can move and the distance you can grab, the play area feels very small. Maybe a bigger level?
* I like the blurred background, but the nearby art could be sharper.
* Overall I like the art, sound, physics and mechanic.

Well done! I look forward to another iteration.

I'm new here but I've got my own game up since yesterday if you'd care to try. No hassle though. http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=49178.0

Cheers
