I've been playing with the timeline a lot over the past two weeks, it works brilliantly with Dan Fessler's dynamic indexing technique. Lots of cool effects you can't achieve anywhere else. Examples:

Keyframed movement on blended layers. Resembles nonlinear color cycling


Post rendering 3D primitives


Keyframed scaling and blend-ifs


Actual drawing works too I guess. Smudge tool is fantastic for animation.
