[21:18:01] * smn closes all other apps and boots up NOTEPAD.EXE OH MY GOD I NEED A CONCEPT NOOOOOOOOOW. Well, I have a concept now. A little. I guess. "There Will Be Consequences" is a game about consequences. Your playing style affects both control capabilities and the overall, well, world. I'm not going to go into further detail. Yet. While I get my brain twisting, enjoy this half screenshot half mockup picture. You will hear from me, hopefully.

Man, they need to emit high-pitched sawtooth tones as they move around, perhaps with a formant filter on.
Edit: Actually, that sounds naff. But if you have two saw oscillators, slightly detuned, and then stick an LFO on the formant filter, it sounds better. Maybe stick a phaser on it too.

I have decided to stop development on this compo entry. This is mainly because I had too much planned for it. I wouldn't have made it 'till the deadline and I would in no way be satisfied without getting every idea done in a way that wouldn't litter the gameplay. Which I can't, in this frame of time.
I will however definitely continue working on There Will Be Consequences after the compo. It won't be a Cockpit-game any more. Te, he, hee.
I have another game idea fitting the compo, and am currently experimenting with it. This one is completely planned out and well possible until the deadline. Stay tuned.
