Hello, Froggle is a game that I worked on with a few other students at DigiPen Institute of Technology.  It is essentially a 3D adventure-platformer where you control a small frog-like creature that can use his extraordinarily long tongue to grapple, bounce and swing around a world of terrariums.

The game is complete and can now be downloaded for free at www.frogglegame.com

Here are some screenshots:

...and even a video:

I remember when I first played an earlier build a while back. Was a very fun game. The only thing that irked me was the lack of a save/load feature. Is something of the sorts incorporated now?

Yes, it saves whether or not you have passed the tutorials. Smiley

saw a trailer of this game not too long ago and thought it would be interesting.

nice to see the actual full version out now.

well i have just finished the game and found it pretty enjoyable.   Smiley
especially the more fast paced test with the rings.
so...one day off for the teacher  Beer!

overall good work.  Gentleman

first i thought it was too slow but after a while i got used to it and understood that it is part of the gameplay to float through the air and figure out which thing to grab next.
anyways it woul be interesting how this game would be with twice the speed.
when there will be an update maybe add this as an option.
and the ability to run...even when its not used often cause your in the air most of the time.

Those are all interesting suggestions.  We made him a little bit slower on the ground so people would feel compelled to use the tongue...but running sounds pretty fun. Smiley

Hey, I remember this game Smiley

Is the complete game the file called 'Latest Froggle Build - Dec 05 2008'?  The downloads part of the site could be more friendly ... I feel like I'm downloading a beta or something when it's listed like that.

Best feeling of movement since the Spider-Man 2 movie video game.

Love the graphics too.

That's a good point...we should just have a big DOWNLOAD NOW image on the front page.
