Wanted to drop a couple of 3D things I've been working on. First a bit of Super Crate Box fan art. I'm using a python script to search a pixel art image for pixels and RGB values, then rebuilding in Maya with a V-Ray shader. I could put this script online if anyone's interested. Next we've got a bit of a mash up. I'm using pixel art textures in Maya and rendering in V-Ray. Gifv link if that's too slow http://i.imgur.com/4zx6uSp.gifv

There's a lot going on with that creature. It's shape and textures are very busy and confusing. I'm struggling to work out what bits what. Have you got a gif/vid of it in motion?

Nah, but I do have orthos: It's a hexepadal, four-winged behemoth. The textures have such detail since they're absolutely gigantic in-game.

Hey guys, I'm new here. Here's a render of the two playable characters from my (potential) game, "Halcyon". I tried to achieve the PS1 low-poly look with pixel art textures. I think I nailed it down. The models need a bit of work due to the rigs, though. Zeno (Blonde guy) is about 976 tris, Terra (Girl on the right) is about 1200~ tris, breaking the poly limit a bit. Done in Blender 2.6.
